Julie Molina sat alone in her large dressing room at the Orpheum theater, applying one last layer of lip gloss to her lips as she looked at herself in the mirror. She was already changed into her outfit, and now, she had to wait. Wait for the show, and wait for the guys.
"Julie? I've got your crew,"
The younger girl looked over at the door as the tech, Rob, opened it, allowing Flynn and Holland to walk inside the room. Julie smiled as she looked at their outfits, Flynn and her cheetah jacket and Holland with her red dress, paired with that leather jacket she couldn't let go of.
"Holograms are good to go, boss," Flynn told her with a wink.
"And I just finished settling everything with Tasha for the night," Holland told her before shooting Flynn a look. "You can have your manager job back after this. I'm not a fan."
Julie laughed as she looked between her friends, and than back to Rob.
"Best crew ever,"
"I'll be back in a few minutes to walk you to the stage,"
The girls bid him goodbye as Rob left the room, shutting the door to give them privacy once again. Holland let out a sigh as she looked around the room, taking in the surreal moment that was being backstage at the Orpheum. She hoped that one day it could be her on the stage, singing her own songs for the world to hear.
"Do you see these backstage passes?" Flynn squealed, pointing between her own and Holland's. "I just had sushi with Brendan Urie!"
"Good for you. I threw up in the car on the way over here,"
Holland laughed as she pulled up a chair next to Julie, taking the younger girl's hand in her own as she gave her a comforting smile.
"And you still look amazing,"
"I made friends with the teach crew, and you are going to love what we have planned," Flynn paused for a second as she put on a flirty smile, looking around the room. "The guys are here, right? Not that it matters. Ones definitely off the market now, one is gay, and I'm still not going for your brother."
Julie took her hand from Holland's as she turned to look back at the mirror, answering Flynn's question.
"I haven't seen them, actually,"
"Wait, you don't think they changed their minds and took Caleb's offer, do you?"
"Going with Caleb is the absolute last thing they wanted," Holland butt in as she looked at Flynn. "They're going to be here. They wouldn't leave us, not like this."
Flynn beckoned the girls over to the couch where the food sat. Julie and Holland exchanged a smile as they joined her, trying to calm the nerves of everyone in the room with the snacks laid out for them.
"Do you think Stand Tall is the right song?" Julie asked a few minutes later, just staring down at her shoes before looking at Holland. "Do you think mom would like it?"
