"Recognize that you are a sinner, ask Jesus to forgive you, and turn away from your sins. You have to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He died on the cross to pay for all our sins. Learn to repent and believe in him. Stop your sinful lifestyle, and build a close relationship of faith with God." Paliwanag ko.
"Do you believe in Him?"
"Yes! I believe in Him, always and forever! Eternally! He died on the cross to pay for all our sins. Imagine how much He loves us? Diba?" Nginitian ko sila. "People say that they can die protecting the one they love. It's the same with Jesus."
"Ah! Ate, so Jesus loves us so much, kaya kahit na masakit, He still chose to die to pay for our sins?"
"Yes, He did! Getting crucified isn't a joke. Masakit iyon. I can't even imagine how much He was in pain. I'm feeling so sorry and thankful at the same time." I smiled.
"Ganito kasi iyan, because Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins... kaya may eternal life na binibigay sa atin diba? Pero kasi, you need to believe. Yes, nakalaan na para sa'yo ang eternal life na iyan, but what's the point kung mabubuhay ka sa kasalanan? That's why we need to repent and turn away from our sinful lifestyles."
"Nagi-guilty ako Ate, I've been sinning..." A kid sobbed.
Inalo ko siya. "Hey, shh... Everyone does sins. Kahit ako, nagkakasala. But we need to repent and have faith in Jesus, okay? What would you feel kapag nakita mo na ang sakripisyo mo ay binabalewala ng iba?"
"Masasaktan po ako. I sacrificed for them, tapos wala lang sa kanila." A kid answered.
"Bingo! Do you think that's how Jesus would feel?"
Tumango sila.
Ngumiti ako. "But remember, He loves us so much. He'll always accept us, if we could only accept him first."
The day ended like a flash.
Which I think is such a good thing. I want them to have a better view in life, through Christ.
Wala namang problema iyon sa akin. It wouldn't hurt to share God's words. Sa katunayan, maganda pa nga iyon.
The world we are living right now is so corrupted. People are just focused on having fun.
They're too caught up in the moment.
I sighed. If only I could sprinkle every word in the Bible into them.
"You're here!
I hugged her.
"That's right.
"Papa!" I ran to him before hugging him also.
"How's my only daughter? May boyfriend na ba?" He joked.
Humiwalay ako ng yakap at sumimangot. "Boyfriend? No, Papa! I'm contented with God."
