"Are you sure? We can talk about it if you'd like."Omniscient
"Which one do you like better?" Symere asked Sheyaa while holding up two shirts but there was nothing but silence. He looked up only to see that Sheyaa hadn't been paying attention. "Sheyaa?" He called out. It seemed like Sheyaa was deep in thought about something, but what? "Sheyaa?" Symere called once more as he gently tapped him. Sheyaa shifted his gaze towards him.
"Yeah?" He answered.
"You ok? It seems like you got something on your mind."
"Yeah, everything's fine." He assured him, but that wasn't the case. In all honesty he had been contemplating on whether or not he should Symere how he feels about him. On one hand, he wanted to get it off his chest but on the other hand, he didn't want to risk ruining their friendship. He felt stuck at this point.
"Are you sure? We can talk about it if you'd like." Symere offered, Sheyaa politely declined.
"No, everything's fine." He spoke, hoping that Symere believed him. He wanted to get Symere's attention off of him but how? He thought quickly before looking at the shirts he was holding. "Which one are you gonna get?"
"I was thinking the red one at first but I don't know. What do you think?" Sheyaa let out a sigh of relief before responding.
"Why not get both? I think both colors would look good on you."
"I would if I was buying everything, I don't want you to waste a lot of money on me."
"I don't mind spending money on you Sy. You don't have to feel bad about it, it's ok."
"But I already have a lot of stuff." He spoke, referring to the other items in the basket. "I'll just put a few things back."
"Don't, you don't have have to put anything back. Get as many things as you want." Sheyaa insisted. He hated the fact that Symere felt bad whenever he offered to do something for him or gave him gifts. There was no reason for him to feel guilty. "I don't want you to worry about the price, alright?" Symere nodded.
"Okay." He couldn't help but to feel horrible for receiving things like this from Sheyaa. He felt as if he was getting all these things for seemingly no reason at all. What did he do to deserve all of this? "But I'm gonna need your help with picking out a few things."
"Alright, why don't you go look for a few outfits and bring them here?" Sheyaa suggested.
"I will. I know I say this a lot but thanks again." Symere smiled as he hugged him tightly before walking off. Sheyaa watched him walk away, he sighed as the thoughts from earlier crossed his mind once more. When should he tell Symere about his feelings? Was it even a good idea to tell him how he felt? He knew he couldn't keep his feelings a secret for long but didn't know when to reveal them. He had no idea of what to do.
"What do you think about these?" Symere asked as he ran over with a pair of ripped jeans in his hand, snapping Sheyaa out of his thoughts once more.
"They're really nice." Sheyaa answered. "But can I ask you something real quick?"Symere smiled.
"Sure, go ahead."
"If you really wanted to do something but you were scared to do it what would you do?" He thought for a moment.
"I'd try to calm myself down first and convince myself that the problem isn't as big as I'm making it and that everything will be alright." He began. "Then I'd do it." Sheyaa nodded in understanding. He figured that he'd take Symere's advice and hopefully get himself calm enough to the point where he could tell him tomorrow, but was it possible?
