"Why do you always have to leave?"

Omniscient

"This is the shit I'm talking about!" Symere shouted as Jordan began packing his bags. Jordan furrowed his eyebrows. As usual he felt as if Symere was just overreacting. So what if he wanted to leave for a few nights? It's not that big of a deal. Right?

"And then you wonder why I never wanna spend time with your ass." Jordan zipped up one of his bags before continuing. "You're always bitching about something. Like bitch can I breathe?" Like every argument that the pair had Jordan would usually take the victim role and not own up to his faults. Symere on the other hand, was forced to be the culprit. Although he didn't do any wrong he was constantly screamed at for seemingly no reason.

"I'm not trying to be a bitch I just wanna spend some time with you. It seems like you're always leaving and-" Symere started.

"You're the reason I'm leaving!" Jordan shouted at the top of his lungs causing Symere to jump. "What do you not get about that? You're the problem!" Symere looked down after hearing that phrase. Even though he was described as the problem on numerous occasions it still hurt him. He didn't want to be seen as such a burden, he just wanted to feel loved for once.

"I'm not trying to be a problem I just don't want to always be ignored." Jordan let out a sigh.

"I don't always 'ignore you.'" He let out a sigh and began packing another bag. "You're always fucking exaggerating."

"So leaving me for however many days at a time isn't ignoring me?" Jordan shook his head.

"No I'm just taking a break from you."

"How are you gonna take a break from me but barely spend time with me as it is?"

"We went over this already, I spend enough time with you ok? End of discussion!" Jordan spat. Symere folded his arms.

"I don't know who you spend your time with but it's definitely not me! So don't sit in my face and tell me that bold faced lie!"

"You're the one who's lying! We just went out to dinner yesterday! The fuck is you talking 'bout?"

"You were on your phone the whole time! That's not spending time with me and that was only one day out of this past month Jordan! Where were you when I fucking needed you?"

"I was minding my business don't worry about what I was doing." Symere smacked his lips in response.

"I don't understand why you always have to leave me like, why do you always have to leave? Would it kill you to stay with me a little longer?"

"It might." Jordan replied coldly.

"See comments like that make me want to leave your ass even more." Symere responded as he glared at Jordan.

"If you leave me who's gonna want you? No one." Symere could feel himself beginning to tear up. Jordan's words cut deeper than any knife could. He felt that maybe he was right.

"I'm sure I'll find someone better." Symere spoke trying to sound as confident as possible. He didn't want Jordan to know that he had hurt him.

"Yeah I'm sure you will." Jordan replied sarcastically. "You're never gonna find someone who puts up with your shit like I do." Symere blinked back his tears.

"I will." After a few seconds Symere was on the brink of tears. It didn't take much to make him cry. Jordan took notice of this and began shouting at him for it. Since when was it bad to show emotions?

"You're really over here about to cry? Grow the fuck up!" Jordan yelled.

"Please just leave me alone. You said enough already. I don't want to argue anymore."

"Get over it, it's not that serious!" Jordan spat completely ignoring his request.

"I'm done Jordan I'm not gonna argue with you anymore." Symere surrendered hoping that he would stop. Sadly things didn't end up going that way.

"How are you gonna tell me to stop arguing with you when you started it? You shouldn't have been bothering me!" Symere couldn't hold in his tears for much longer.

"You brought this on yourself! We wouldn't be having this conversation if you'd just listen to me!" This remark was enough to send Jordan to the edge and make him more aggressive than he was before.

"So this is all my fucking fault?" Jordan shouted. "Why does everything have to be my fault? You're always putting the blame on me!" Symere looked at the floor. He was both saddened and upset that Jordan didn't realize the wrong he was doing.

"Because it is your fault! You're always blaming me for your fuck ups!" Symere screamed through tears. "It's all your fucking fault!"

"Look I'm done with this shit! I'm tired of you making a big deal out of nothing! You better hope I come back home next week!" Symere sat in silence for a moment.

"You were gonna leave me for a week? I can't believe you right now! You're always doing something like give me a break!" Symere cried out.

"Oh you want a break? Is that what you fucking want?" He asked as he picked up a vase off their windowsill. "I'll give you a fucking break!" He threw the vase at Symere which luckily missed him by a few inches. "Fuck this and fuck you!" Jordan grabbed his bags before rushing out the door leaving Symere in a puddle of tears. He pulled out his phone and began to text Rakim.

"I'ma be there in a few minutes sorry that I'm taking so long bb." How was he able to move on from the situation so quickly? It was almost as if it never happened.

"It's ok take your time Jordan." Rakim responded. Jordan looked at the message before heading towards his car. How could someone be so heartless?
