Mr. Ed has nothing on ole Betty Sue. She's an old nag that's kept down the road a piece at this farmer friends place.
For the benefit of those who are not familiar with Mr. Ed, he was a talking horse on a comedy tv sitcom back in the late 50's or early sixty's I think it was. You can find it on Google. Maybe even find some free reruns to watch.
Anyway, I stopped by the farm real early the other day and found John as he was feeding the barn critters.
After he finished divvying up the grub down the long isle he came back and stopped in front of Betty Sue's stall and asked her if she'd like some more oats?
You can imagine my surprise when Betty Sue lifted her tail and said Pheeeewwwwww..
Yeah, Yeah. I did hear that years ago but ain't it fun. The sense of humor of God amazes me..
