Seonghwa's P.O.V--

I was getting my makeup done when the manager came up to me, and showed me his phone screen. On it was the article about me and Yeosoon. I looked at my feet, I was speechless.

"Have you seen this?" He asked, his face full of concern. I just nodded in response. He put his head In his hands while releasing a loud sigh. "Why didn't you tell me? Do you know how many people have seen this."

"It's not like it's true." I stated.

"That's not the point. They have literal proof." He shot back. "Now I'm gonna have to get this taken down somehow, Please be more careful. Ateez is becoming more known in Korea now, people everywhere can capture just the smallest moment."

"Okay." I answered.

I took a deep breath, there was no doubt that I was frustrated with the whole situation. But I trusted my fans not to take anything the wrong way and support us no matter what. That's what ATINY does. After finally getting out of the makeup chair I went to sit down on the sofa next to Mingi who was playing a game on his phone. I laid my head back and close my eyes but I was distracted a repeated buzzing sound. I followed to sound, It was coming from Yeosoon's phone.

"Yeosoon, your phone is ringing." I called.

"Argh!" Mingi shouted, he had obviously died in the game. (He was never any good) He then faced me and said "Yeosoon went somewhere with san, she must have left her phone."

It was still vibrating non-stop so I decided to pick it up. My eyes-widened when I had seen what was happening. Mingi must have noticed my reaction because he asked "What's wrong?". I just looked up from the screen, the appalled expression on my face didn't budge. Mingi leaned in closer to look at the notified phone.

Before he could react I threw the phone on his lap and rushed out of the door. I needed to find her. I ran through the crowded hallways of the broadcasting building, I must have said "I'm sorry" at least a hundred times every time I bumped into someone. Where could she have been? I was running for minutes on end, searching every inch of the place.

Out of the blue, I heard a familiar voice shout "Hyung!" I turn around to see San with four coffees in a holder, his face full of confusion. "Where are you going?" He asked.

I jog closer to him and ask "Where's Yeosoon?"

"She's in the cafeteria, she said she will meet me back in the waiting room." he answered.

In a flash I was gone again, leaving San alone and bewildered. I ran down the stairs as fast as I could although I was out of breath. It didn't do me any favours that we were on one of the highest floors. At the last couple of floors, My lungs felt as if there were throbbing in my chest, yet my worry for Yeosoon kept me going.

Finally reaching the ground floor, I Walk fast through the crowds looking for her. My head moved from left to right as the search continued. Eventually I stop. I found her. I wanted to cry for her but I kept myself together.

She was sitting at a table by herself, Her hand was slowly tracing the lid of her coffee and her face was left emotionless. But that wasn't the worst part. The walls to the building were all glass, the outside of the building were filled with people pounding of the glass and screaming at her. And yet she just sat there, alone, as if they weren't there. Security were struggling to keep them all away.

I walked up to her and stood there looking down at her, she didn't react. I crouched down to her eyeline but still nothing. I flinched at the sounds of the banging, it felt as if it was going to break. "Yeosoon" I spoke. "Come on." The muffled screaming filling the room.

As a result, I grabbed her wrist and dragged her behind me. I began running, we needed to get as far away from them as possible. As we ran past the entrance I spotted multiple people trying to get into the building but failing due to security. My attention relocated to an empty elevator so with Yeosoon behind me I started sprinting into the lift.

The doors closed leaving the pair of us alone. Yeosoon was panting due to exhaustion meanwhile I had my hands on my needs because I couldn't breath. Once we both had calmed down and re-gained our energy, we concluded in eye contact. I couldn't tell what she was feeling, her glare was empty. "Why did you do that?" she finally choked up.

"What do you mean. You were just sitting there while getting a load of abuse." I argued.

"You just made the situation worse! Why do you think I was ignoring you. Now you just gave them more of a reason for believing the rumours." She yelled.

I was left speechless. She seemed generally angry, I hadn't seen her like that. Suddenly, I remembered what Yeosang had said on the bus. She keeps a lot of pain to herself. That made me fill with devastation, I didn't want her to hide her feeling with me.

I walked closer to her meanwhile she backed away until she hit the back of the elevator, yet I still moved closer. I put one arm on the wall beside her head and scanned her eyes. Just by looking into them I could read her expression. "What are you doing?" She asked.

I placed my hand on her flushed cheeks and traced my thumb up and down, While studying her beautiful face, I asked "Why didn't you tell me about the threatening messages you were getting?"

Her response was breaking our eye contact; looking at her feet. refusing her answer, I cupped her chin and moved her face so she was looking at me. "Why?" I repeated.

"Because it doesn't bother me, Seonghwa." She said. "I don't care what they say."

"But they could have easily gotten to you just now, who knows what they would have done to you." I stated, but her face expressed no purpose.

"Please just leave this alone, Seonghwa. It's just gonna cause trouble." she said, turning her head away from me.

Why was she being like that? Did she really think that low of herself to think that she's going to bother us with something like that. I thought back to the messages I seen popping up on her phone only 20 minutes before.

'kill yourself' 'You don't deserve to be alive' 'I'm going to stab you'

Those kind of messages came through her phone via unknown numbers and yet it doesn't bother her? It wasn't phasing me. Anger washed over me every time she told me to ignore the situation and that anger got a hold of me. I cupped her face in my hands which where the size of her head. I inched closer to her so that our noses were almost touching, her eyes widened and her ears turned red, I tried to hold in my smile when I noticed that.

"You are much more than you think." I said, our breaths becoming heavier and our hearts beating faster.

In the spur of the moment, we heard a loud 'BING' sound as the elevator doors opened. Both of our heads turned to the direction on the door, our position not changing. We gasp when we see who we were greeted by with the same expression.
