There was a medium sized door unlike the one we just walked through , a man came out of the door. Everyone bowed their heads at him and I was left standing there confused and wondering who this man was for all of them to bow to him, when suddenly August pushed my head down making me bow. I turned my head sidways and glared at him to which he shrugged.
"Sit down" the man said (more like commanded). If there was something off about the people that was in the gym there was nothing in him that just wasn't off. We sat on the couches; there was a big semi circle couch and one single couch opposite to it. We all sat down on the semi circle couch while the man sat on the other. He was giving me a calculating stare or was he glaring at me? Couldn't actually see any difference between that. He had a frown on his face and by the looks of it, it was pretty permanent. He looked as if he was on his mid thirties his eyes were hazel coloured, so blank and empty. I shifted gaze to anything but him. He is kinda scary.
"Charlie Fernando" he called my name with such authority, I jerked my head away from the painting I was staring at towards him (what was the deal with this place and paintings? There is just too many not that I'm complaining, I find paintings fascinating)
"Yes" I replied.
"Why did you go to the portal?" he asked. It was hard to look at his eyes; his hazel eyes were cold and hollow. I don't know why but I didn't want to be scared of him so I looked him directly in the eye
"Because of the man" I said. I said the truth because I didn't the point in lying to him. And if my parents trust him then he should be trust-able.
"Man?" he asked. Everyone except me looked confused. But I didn't want to answer yet, I have questions and I want the answers to that.
"I'll be more than happy to tell you but first answer my questions, tell me what place this is and what my connection with it is. And first of all who are you" I said. The man leaned in and said "I'm Lucas, the leader of the warriors" warriors? Seriously?
"Warriors?" I asked to make sure I heard that right.
"Yes, and that is what you are Charlie; a warrior. Born to protect the throne or take over it if you are the one" he explained, but why? I wanted to be a witch.
"And this place? This is called the gathering and no not only this room but the whole place where warriors from different dimensions come together to train and protect the throne from the wrong hands and help humans" okay... tell me this is a dream. I slowly turn my head towards August and he nodded conforming that I'm not going insane and whatever I heard is true. From the outside people might be thinking that how is that I able so cool with it and to be honest I am totally freaking out I just keep my freak out on the inside. I'm still a bit disappointed that I'm not a witch.
"Dimensions? As in time dimensions?" I asked.
"Yes" he said.
"Does that mean there is an another version of me here?" I asked and he almost smiled.
"No, the choices were different in different dimension from the very begining. Making everything change now, so, no there no other is version of you here"
"Can you tell me more about the throne?" I asked.
"Your brother will tell you more about it later but now tell me about the man, what did he say? Why did you listen to him" I wanted answers now but I know when to stop asking, I tell him about everything, the man telling me to go to the statue and the rest. I told them of how the man had looked, his body was rotting, I told them about the dream I had about everyone dying, I told him about how I felt like I was watching myself fall. Everyone was listening carefully because I hadn't told anyone about this. Once I finished talking August asked
