INFERNO: The Fiery Inception

CHAPTER 2

9:30am, physics class.

I can't understand what wrong I did to these old people to punish me with their weird experiments. As far as I knew, physics was torture to most mortal minds. Somewhere In between mentally debating why Physics shouldn't be a compulsary subject I started thinking about what Alex had said about Julian...
The guy was like a brother to me, how she could say that about him is beyond me.

"You're thinking about it" Alex whispered next to me, taking me out of cursing her in my mind.

"What?" I feigned innocence.

"About Julian being too nice to you" she had a confident smirk on her face.

That's when Jacob spoke I almost jumped out of my seat thinking he might have heard what we were talking. If that happened I would die of embarrassment, I didn't need that.

"What are you planning to do after school?" He asked me.

"We could go eat something then go to a karaoke" Eleanor suggested.

"We're going to sing our heart out" Eleanor whispered.

"What was that?" Ben asked, raising an eyebrow, amused. And I would do that too if I was him, Eleanor never sang in front of us.

"That's Benjamin's job" Alex said although she had a smile on her face.

"You're all singing too" Ben said.

"Singing is all good but what about some video games? We could go to our Arcade, I heard there will be some students there."

"Of course Jacob we will go and play at the arcade." I said.

"And go to a movie?" Eleanor asked.

"Uuuuuuuhkay!" Alex said.

"CHARLIE FERNANDO, ALEX AND ELEANOR WOULD YOU LIKE TO KEEP QUITE! YOU'RE DISTURBING THE CLASS" our physics teacher Nikita shouted at us.

I saw Layla smirking. "You..." I muttered. But Nikita mam did not like me muttering angrily.

"That's it, you lot, get out of the class now" she shouted. And by 'you lot' she meant me myself, Alex and Eleanor. Layla smirked even more and turned to face the teacher. What's school without getting thrown out of class.

So, The seating was in such a way that I sat in the last row(aka fourth bench)on my right Alex and Jacob on left, Eleanor in the front and Benjamin on her right. Layla sat on the second row. I had to do something as a tiny revenge.

I stood and looked at Benjamin; apparently he understood what I wanted to do. I walked towards the front Benjamin kept his leg there for me to stumble; Layla was sitting in front of Benjamin so when I stumbled I pushed Layla's head which banged into the table. Everyone laughed at her, even her friends had a hard time holding back a laugh. If it was pre-planned I would have recorded it for sure and would have blackmailed her of posting it in Instagram.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I'm sorry, oh my God. It must have hurt a lot" I fake sympathized her.

"You.... You intentionally did that" Layla screamed. A girl's got to do what a girls got to do

"Layla stop screaming and Charlie get out" Nikita mam looked like if I stood there a minute more she would explode in my face. So as you expect me to do I went out of the class with Eleanor and Alex, Nikita mam escorted us outside, but just before we were outside I turned my head slightly to glance at Benjamin and Jacob, who shrugged. When we stood outside in a line she said "hands up" like standing outside was not bad enough. We raised our hands and Nikita mam went inside.
