"just don't tell me that we have to go to the sixteenth dimension" I said, panic that I felt was evident in my voice. As much as I wanted to go and retrieve the sword as soon as possible and to wnd this misery, sixteenth dimension just seemed like a death wish. That wouldn't be ending any misery but ending me.

"Nope, not the 16th dimension" Lucas shook his head. To say that I was relieved would be an understatement.

"But a dimension which maybe equally dangerous" Adams said. "3rd dimension, the only dimension the dark side could never reach, they never meet with other dimension. No one came back once they were in 3rd dimension" he paused and looked at me "at least not alive". It would have been equally scary without the dramatic pause, but I guess he couldn't help it.

"I know our chances look real slim, but we have to go" I paused and looked at August, Alex and Eric. "I'm ready to give my life if that's what I have to do, I can't let dimensions get destroyed, but I don't want you guys to get hurt." I finished. I don't know where I got all this confidence from and I know it's still a death wish but deep I know I'm ready to die, at least I will make a difference. The painting on the hallways came to my mind, the smile on their face even after knowing that they'll die for sure. Plus I've been in many near death situation pain is an old friend of mine. Then August spoke and brought me out of my thoughts.

"We're ready to give our lives too then" he said a determined look om his face

"Yes Charlie, and remember, you're the one with no training not us, we are going to ace this" Alex supported him. Eric nodded his head in an approving manner and looked up to give me an assuring smile.

"And about Charlie's training, you three can help and call Amanda if you want" Lucas told August. That was the last topic we talked about then we walked out of the meeting room. And I had noticed how sour August's face went at mention of Amanda's name, even though he tried to hide it.

This time Eric joined us in our not so short walk to our rooms. I found out Eric studied in the same school as us.

"who's Amanda?" I asked.

"Best female fighter from E-15" Eric said. Suddenly August seemed very interested In the painting that hung on the wall.

"What's this supposed to mean?" I whispered to Alex pointing at August.

"August and Amanda had a match" she said.

"He lost didn't he?" I asked.

"Yup, she's the only one who could defeat him; it was a huge dent in his ego" Alex.

"Huge dent on my what?" August asked, Now all serious. "And I was injured back then, so it basically doesn't count" he continued.

"Okay then, we'll see" I said.

"We'll see what?" he asked.

"What about a rematch, tomorrow morning?" I asked him with a challenging smirk.

"You think I'm scared of a rematch" he asked

"I never said that, you assumed that yourself. Are you afraid?" I asked holding back a laugh, god I missed this. August gave me mean glare and turned around to walk to our dorms, and increased his pace. Alex, Eric and I started to laugh out loud.

"Shut up" August yelled at us, now very ahead of us.

I went inside my room and changed into my pajamas and my wounds are almost completely healed I'm pretty sure, few more minutes and there would be no trace of it. Alex said it usually didn't heal this quick. But hey, who's complaining? I was happy to not feel this pain anymore. I plopped onto my bed I turned my head to see a speaker in the nightstand. Today was hectic, and all I need is a bit of music to calm myself down. I connected my phone to the speaker and played my favorite playlist, I'm a good dancer; I mean I don't suck at it but while I'm alone and trying to relieve stress I just don't care, I dance my heart out trying to be silly on purpose, there is something in it that makes me happy. And thankfully the rooms are soundproof or so I've been told
