Max POV:
A hand covers my mouth, but that's not what confuses me. What confuses me is that I can see the hand. I am turned around to face the person and it's none other than Adam.
"A-... Adam?..." I choke out, practically breaking down in tears of relief. Adam pulls me into a hug and starts stroking my hair.
"Why didn't you tell me?.." I look up at Adam, but see a devilish grin on his face and smears of blood.
"Adam?" I escape his increasing grip on me and start to back up, fearing what will happen.
"Maxy... I just wanted a hug." Adam says, still smiling a wicked smile.
I feel something sharp in my stomach and look down to find a long blade sticking out of my stomach.
"Oh! Chilly Willy is here!" Adam says with joy in his voice.
"What's happening?" I whisper, before succumbing to a sleep like death.
