'Yo fam I'm home' I said walking in the door. I just got off of work at the ice cream joint.
'Derrick hurry up I wanna run 2k with you' Dawson shouted from the game room.
'Ight give me like 3n a half minutes... maybe even 4' I said running into my room after hanging up my car keys.
I threw my backpack on the floor by my queen-sized bed and went to take a quick shower. I came out with my towel hanging around my waist, walked back towards my bed and picked up my phone. After scrolling through IG for a minute, I got dressed in a simple fit and headed downstairs.

'Took you long enough' Dawson said throwing me the controller. ' you look ugly' 'Man shut up Dawson' I laughed shaking my head ' you just mad cuz you know you boutta get. This. Work.'
'Me? You MUST have another brother named Dawson cuz you CANT be talking about me' he laughed ' Ight bet. We gone see then' I said starting up an offline game.
We played for two hours and when I tell y'all I WHOOPED this man. If I could slap him for every game I won, mans cheek would be on swole mode💀 'Boy I told you you'd be taking this L' I said making the L shape on my forehead. 'Shut yo lame ass up' Dawson snapped ' you were cheating anyway.'
How tf do you cheat in 2k... 'Dawson. I switched my team, let you use the best of all time niggas for your team AND let you PICK my team and your sorry ahh STILL LOST' I reminded him laughing. 'Anyways imma order pizza so ma doesn't have to cook and dad doesn't try to cuz'- 'That man be tryna kill us I swear' we said at the same time laughing.
'Look bruh what kind you want man' I said regaining my composure. 'Lemme get a pepperoni, sausage n cheese... AND CHEEEEESE' Dawson sang off key. 'You do too much' I said holding my ear like it hurt 'I already know what the rest of the fam wants so you wanna come with me to pick it up?' 'Naw imma stay home and keep playing' Dawson said heading back to the couch.
'You need to be practicing cause them shot releases ain't it Mr. Danny Green' I called as I ran out the door cause I knew he'd try to run after me.
I started up my car and pulled out of the drive way. I connected my phone to the car and started playing Faucet Failiure by Ski Mask the Slump god.
~At the pizza joint~
'Preciate you' I said as I took the boxes of Pizza from the cashier. I walked out of the store and put the boxes in the passenger seat. When I was coming back around to the driver's side, I saw a familiar red car. Where do I know that car from? I shook the thought from my head and drove home.
~ At the Davidson house~
'I got fooooood' I said as I came back in the house. Dawson ran up to me, snatched the boxes and ran into the kitchen. 'Damn I can't even get a thank you?' I said following him there. He turned and nodded at me ' preciate you cuhh' and turned back around
Sometimes I don't know how we related. 🤦🏾♂️💀 'you welcome cUhH' I said back mocking him and taking my box up to my room.
As I ate and watched Netflix, that same thought came back to my mind. Who's red car was that and why is it stuck in my head? Then it hit me. The girl from work today. 🤣 She was a lil akward but it was madddd cute. Getting all stuck on her words and stuff. Damn. I can't remember her nameeee 🤦🏾♂️. It had to be sum pretty tho. Wait. Did she even tell me her name? Nope. She did not.💀💀 Well then again I didn't really ask. But I didn't get the chance too cuz she did the RACE and was OUTTA DERE. I shook my head cuz I was rambling and my thoughts were racing over a girl I JUST met and hardly knew. I got up to trash my pizza box and laid on my bed to continue my show.
Am I ever gone see her again?
~Ashlee's POV~ Somehow I got volunteered to pick up pizza for everyone when they know dang well Chase is a whole junior and has been driving longer than me. Plus he has free periods so he was home before me and David. They don't even let me drive to go out or see friends so why am I all of a sudden responsible for errands?🤦🏾♀️ I wasn't reall tripping big over it cuz it's SUMMER TIME BABYYY! I was about to get out of my car when I looked out the window. I saw this tall, FOINE chocolate man that looked about my age and had this clean denim fit on and-

As soon as the thought crossed my mind he snapped his head in my direction. WTF- I have NEVER moved so quick in my life. The speed in which I lowered my seat all the way down- Chile. I laid there like that for about 5 minutes just to make sure he wouldn't see me and then I got out and grabbed the pizzas. Now that I think of it allat wasn't necessary cause I was on the OTHER SIDE OF THA DAMN PARKING LOT. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ Its sum terribly wrong with me I swear.
~ At the Cooper house~
'YURRRR I GOT FOOOD' I yelled walking in the house. 'I DONE TOLD YALL BOUT ALLAT YELLIN IN MY HOUSE NA' my mom yelled back. 'Honey relaxxxxx' my dad said trying to calm her. Keyword trying. 💀
David ran up to me and snatched the boxes out my hands and ran off with em 'Preciate you cuhh' he called behind him.
I shook my head as I walked into the kitchen and took my box of pizza to the game room and started watching Netflix. I couldn't help but think about Derrick again. Thinking about him made me think about how ABSOLUTELY EMBARRASSING I am 🤦🏾♀️ I thought about telling Ella and Destiny but decided against it for now. I don't need them ganging all up on me again 💀🤦🏾♀️.
