(I definitely forgot to have Ash go to the rest of her classes yesterday 😭 but I liked how I ended the chapter so pretend she went to all her classes and ignored Trey in the classes she had with him🙃💀)

Ash's POV
I woke up in a good mood today.
When my alarm went off I turned it off and got up.

I stretched and played Lemonade by Internet Money. I hummed along to the song while brushing my teeth and getting ready.

I checked my phone after taking a shower.

We exchanged schedules and I let out a sigh of relief. We had the same classes all day except for the first and last class.
'HALLELUJAHHHHH' I shouted.
'AYE SHUT UP N GET OUT THE BATHROOM BEFORE WE'RE LATE AND YOU TRY TO BLAME IT ON ME' David shouted from the hallway.
Oop-
'AYE STOP ALLAT YELLIN IN MY DAMN HOUSE' Momma yelled back.

'My bad' I called out and hurriedly got dressed and went to my room to finish up.
I threw this on and ran downstairs to eat breakfast.

I wasn't really hungry and didn't want to eat a lot anyways since I'd have practice today. So I just had some toast with jelly and I was good.
"Yo David hurry up. We gotta go!"
I called behind me as I walked to the car to start it.
"I KNEWWWW you were gonna do this bruhhh" he said whining and stuffing the rest of his cereal in his mouth before he threw on his backpack and ran after me.

" Bye babiesss!" Momma yelled from the kitchen.
"Bye momma" we said dryly in response.
I pulled out of the driveway and headed towards school.
We wouldn't be meeting up with the girls since I'd have practice and David had tutorials.

I parked the car and grabbed my duffel bag and backpack and ran into the school as David walked.
I'm not gonna cap I was about to be late. I could have sworn I had an extra 5 mins 😭
I got into the locker room, jumped into my practice clothes and ran out with my basketball shoes in hand.

The girls were stretching and coach wasn't in the gym yet.

I was not tryna run for being late on the first day 🤦🏾‍♀️

After we stretched and started shooting around, Coach came in the gym.
'Aye everyone come here real quick' he said as he stood next to the bleachers.
The team did a light jog over to coach and listened in.

'I gotta handle some paperwork and make some phone calls so y'all lil kids are gonna practice with Coach P today.' He said pointing around at us.

Everyone started laughing but my face fell. That means we'd have to practice with hoe ass Trey. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ One of my teammates Jaylen noticed this and came over to me.
'You good shawty? Ya look like someone put doodoo in your food' she said putting an arm around my shoulder.
I was already short but Jaylen was TALL so she towered over me.

Jay was a cool ass person who people always mistake for a dude because she's muscular, has a clean fade and edge up with a small bun, and doesn't hide the fact that she's a stud.

'Yea I'm straight Jay I just don't feel like facing da hoe rn' I said sighing.
'See this why I prefer women. Niggas always got some shit goin and are just NASTAY' she said throwing up her hands in fake frustration. 'But I say forget him and his lightskinned ways and just do you today. If you want me to get the gat tho I will' Jaylen finished with a pat on my back as she headed to the other gym with the rest of the team.
