Ashlee's POV Today is NOT finna be it at allllllll😭 I didn't sleep last night cause I was too anxious and I was waiting for my alarm to go off. For like... 6 hours 🤦🏾♀️ So there I was paying on my bed staring at my ceiling while my LEDs lit up my room, AirPods in listening to Still Your Best by Giveon. A whole vibe 🥰
A very short- lived one 😕 My iPhone alarm rang shaking me out of my trance making me jump up on my bed. DAMMITTT😭 I gotta go back to that doodoo ass school they wanna call West High School. I turned of the blaring alarm and dragged myself to the bathroom. I took a shower and went into my room to dress up.

I put on this simple outfit and went downstairs for breakfast. I didn't do any makeup because I didn't have the energy to look nice for people I couldn't care less about.
I came down thinking I'd have to make breakfast myself, but was surprised to see my mom placing plates down on the table with pancakes, eggs and bacon. Mhm that basic breakfast. But LAWD it be hittin ☺️☺️🥰
'Momma what are you doing here?' I asked. 'Girl what do you mean? You thought I was gonna miss my babies first day of school? You trippin' she laughed giving me a hug and kissing me on my forehead. I wiped it before she could see. I love my mom but I'm not goin to school with a purple smudge on my forehead 😭 people got enough to say about it as is. 'I don't know' I shrugged ' I expected you to be at work' I explained as I sat down. 'Well I'm not hon' my mom said ' now hurry up and eat so we can get our pictures before Ella and Destiny stop by.'
We had this family tradition where on the first day of school, Mom would take a picture of us with our backpacks. Even when we got split between schools, we'd just wake up earlier to get all three of us in a picture. As for Ella and Dani, they live in the neighborhood next to us so sometimes on the way to school they stop by.
'You don't have to tell me twice' I responded digging into my food. Now I wasn't a messy eater or anything... I just like food💀
When I was done eating, mom had Chase, David and I line up age order with our backpacks on in front of the house 'Say cheeeeeeeeese' my mom said giggling to herself
Chase smacked his teeth ' mom we're too grown for allat. I'm finna be in college next year'.

As if on cue tears started flowing out of my mom's eyes. 'look at all my babieeeees' This woman is not a pretty crier at allll. 'They all grown up and can't wait to leave me here alone to DIE.' She wailed.
