[ Field Trip- i ]

Field Trip

[ Peter's class is taking a field trip to the Avenger's Tower. But Peter's been living there for weeks now, and is basically touring his own home. Angelika stumbles upon his class and meets Flash, known as Eugene Thompson, and Peter's bully. ]

Peter Parker's Senior Year

ANGELIKA STRETCHED AS SHE stepped downstairs, looking for her Papa, who'd disappeared somewhere. She heard hushed voices in the kitchen and she rubbed her eyes tiredly as she stepped inside. Peter was standing in front of Tony, looking disheveled and urgent as they whispered back and forth. Tony rolled his eyes a few times and Angelika raised a curious eyebrow. All sleep disappeared from her eyes as she bounded over to them.

"Can't I just call in sick? I don't want to tour my own house!" Peter groaned.

"You can't skip school, Pete. Besides, it'll be priceless to see your friends faces when they-" Tony started and Peter threw his hands up.

"That's the problem, Dad, I don't want them to realize I'm friends with all the Avengers!" He said and Angelika decided to interject.

"Why not, Peter?" She asked and the pair jumped three feet in the air.

Peter literally did so, and almost smacked his head into the ceiling. Tony put a hand over his heart, and she stared up at them, slurping water from a glass. Tony turned on his foot, giving her a small frown, and Peter quite literally mirrored his movements.

"Why are you awake?" Peter asked softly, adjusting his backpack. "Aren't you tired?"

Angelika rolled her eyes lightheartedly, taking another long sip of her water.

"No. . .Papa disappeared and I don't know where he is." She said honestly and Tony crossed his arms.

"Barnes is in the training room." He said and her lips formed into an 'o' before she directed her attention to Peter again.

"So what's up with you trying to skip school, Pete?" She asked curiously and Peter sighed, running a hand through his hair.

She narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

"Don't tell me another HYDRA agent is posing as a teacher." She said, cringing at the thought.

Tony shook his head, clasping a hand on Peter's shoulder, turning to Angelika with a proud grin on his lips.

"Peter here is having a class field trip to, well, here. The Avengers Tower." He explained.

Angelika blinked a few times before she beamed at Peter excitedly. Ever since the incident with Agent Rumlow and the destruction of other HYDRA bases, she refused to step back into a school- it became a phobia she'd have to get over- and her Papa was forbidding her from returning anyway. And she genuinely missed MJ, as well as Grace and Ned, so she wanted to see Peter's class.

"That's awesome!" She grinned and Peter shook his head.

"This is terrible, absolutely terrible." He mumbled under his breath, but she heard him loud and clear.

Tony glanced at his watch and patted Peter's head.

"Alright Bambi, you're gonna be late. See ya later kiddo." He said and Peter let loose a long sigh before he pivoted on his foot and headed to the elevator.
