The Avenger's Compound Sleepover Trip
[ i ]

[ Angelika's on the decathlon team with Peter, MJ, Ned, Cindy, Abe, Flash and the rest of the crew. They are invited to the Avenger's compound to look at Avenger's weapon gear, and also spend time with them as a privilege from Tony, though Peter and Angelika suspect he only wants to embarrass the pair. ]

Angelika's first year in highschool
( Peter Parker's senior year )

ANGELIKA WAS SMART AND she really wished she wasn't. If she wasn't smart, then she wouldn't have joined the decathlon team and she wouldn't be sitting at the cold wooden tables of her school solving the easiest questions of the century. Arnim taught her everything from A to Z in every subject possible, and the information was engraved in her brain. Besides, it was difficult to forget answers when she was punished for not knowing the right answer.

She shifted her gaze to the clock- ten minutes before they were dismissed- and she sighed, leaning her arms on the table and comfortably placing her head on her makeshift pillow of flesh. Just as she went to close her eyes and drift off into the wonderful world of sleep, Mr. Harrington stood and clapped his hands to catch everyone's attention.

Angelika looked up whilst stifling a yawn.

"I have an extremely important announcement to make!" Mr. Harrington said, looking like he was bubbling with excitement.

Everyone looked up with curiosity, though Angelika wasn't really interested.

"We've gotten the wonderful privilege to visit the Avenger's Compound for an overnight sleep-away field trip!" He grinned, beaming brightly.

Angelika heard Peter let out an annoyed groan, and she leaned back, running a hand through her hair with a sigh.

Everyone else exploded with excitement, chattering loudly amongst themselves. Flash and his friends were making bets on meeting certain Avenger's, grinning from ear to ear. MJ elbowed Angelika in the side, winking at her.

"You excited to tour your own home?" MJ asked knowingly, and Angelika shook her head.

"This is going to be terrible and-" She said and Peter nodded sullenly.

"-embarrassing." He added.

"Papa and Tony are the worst at making fun of us-" Angelika continued.

"-and they probably planned this." Peter groaned.

MJ watched the pair finish each other's sentences and Angelika rubbed her temples stressfully. Peter leaned his chin against his hand, sighing loudly. Ned, on the other hand, was ecstatic. He was as bright as the sun, sputtering at the thought of officially meeting every single Avenger, even though he'd already met Bucky and Tony before.

"It is very important everyone gets these permission slips signed." Mr. Harrington said as he started to hand out yellow-papered field trip forms. "If this isn't turned in by Thursday morning, the day of the field trip, you will have to stay in the office."

Angelika grasped the paper from him, mumbling a small 'thank you' and realized, slowly, it was a packet. She blinked a few times, surprise morphing into confusion.

"Any questions?" Mr. Harrington asked as he returned to the front of the classroom.

Flash's hand shot up instantly and Mr. Harrington pointed to him.
