Spider Man, aka Peter Parker
[ after Bucky is cleared of most of his crimes Peter stumbles upon him while trying to eat breakfast. Soon he, Bucky and Angelika, become somewhat of the three musketeers. ]
Peter Parker's senior year
WHEN THEY'D FIRST MET it was a complete and utter accident. Angelika was sitting at the kitchen counter with her eyelids drooping, trying her best not to fall asleep. Bucky was mixing cookie batter. Why was he making cookies at 8:00 am? Because he felt like it. Why was he using his metal hand to mix it? He'd snapped the wooden spoon he'd been using, and effectively bent any metal spoon he picked up. So he was mixing with the next best thing- his basically indestructible arm. Angelika had leaned her head against the counter, and didn't notice Peter walk in, wearing fluffy pajamas, and an Iron Man shirt, yawning silently.
He didn't notice Bucky or Angelika and grabbed a bowl, along with a box of cereal and milk. The Winter Soldier blinked, watching the strange boy as he moved. Peter's spider sense tingled and he whirled around, sleep disappearing from his eyes instantly at the sight of Bucky. His mouth opened and closed like a gaping fish and the bowl in his hand crashed to the ground.
Angelika jumped at the sound of the plate shattering and Bucky stiffened, his metal hand covered in cookie dough whirring and clicking loudly with agitation. He sized up the boy, and narrowed his eyes slightly. After a few seconds he deemed the kid wasn't a threat, and turned back to his cookie dough silently.
"Wha- bu- yo- hu- wha-?" Peter sputtered with wide eyes, and Angelika hopped off her seat, walking over to Peter whilst stepping around the glass.
Bucky instantly turned and stood in front of Angelika, bowl of cookie dough in his right hand. He stared down Peter, but didn't give him a harsh glare. It was a warning, and that was enough to give Peter a heart attack.
"Wa- Wait Papa, this is Peter. Remember Peter?" Angelika said, putting a hand on Peter's shoulder.
Bucky turned and stared at her, the slightest hint of confusion flickering between his eyes. Angelika realized Bucky had never seen Spider Man without his mask on, and in fairly normal attire so she quickly explained.
"This is Spider Man, the guy at the airport?" She said. "In Germany?"
Bucky blinked a few times, before nodding slowly, still unsure about the kid.
"He's. . .small." Bucky said, furrowing his eyebrows.
Peter's cheeks tinted red and he opened his mouth to say something but he stopped as Bucky put his bowl of cookie bowl back on the kitchen counter, stepping to the left of Peter. He washed his metal hand in the sink, getting any dough and sugar out of the thin metal gaps in his left arm. He wiped his hands on a towel, before turning to Peter a second time. He examined him, before grabbing Angelika and putting her besides Peter. She didn't object from whatever he was doing- she knew he was trying to process the fact Peter was so oddly young.
He looked between them, back and forth several times, comparing the two. His jaw clenched and Angelika grew slightly worried as his eyes grew colder- harsher- and soldier-like. She swallowed thickly, and Peter reacted the same, feeling her uneasiness. He looked at Peter dead in the eyes before speaking.
