Bucky the Historic Relic[ Angelika and Peter have a brilliant idea- bringing Bucky to school for their World War II presentation for history in high school. ]
Seniors in Highschool
THEY JUST SO HAPPENED to be learning about World War II when Angelika found herself roaming school once again. She'd skipped the rest of her first semester after the incident with Agent Rumlow, and of course, her Papa was more or less furious she had returned to school- she had him as a bodyguard for weeks, until he finally trusted she would be safe. Now she was sitting in class besides Peter, learning about a war she knew all too much about.
The teacher- Ms. Johansson- turned the projector off and shut her textbook, giving everyone a pleasant smile.
"That'll be it for today. Oh, and before I forget, there's going to be a project due this Friday, so, about three days for you to complete it. I want you to choose an important figure in World War II history- soldiers, scholars, doctors- whichever you please, and have a detailed slide presentation with the rubrics requirements." She said, stepping forwards and handing each row a stack of paper.
"This is going to be a laid back project because I've been giving you loads of homework and I apologize." She continued. "You have to work in groups of two or three."
Angelika glanced at Peter, Ned and MJ, who were eyeing each other with uncertainty. Angelika looked down, sighing softly as she decided she could do the project alone. Ms. Johansson noticed her distraught look and smiled softly.
"Except for Angelika. You can join any group even if it exceeds the amount." She said and Angelika brightened, giving the teacher a thankful grin.
She heard Flash scoff and Angelika frowned deeply. Ever since she'd defended herself from him on that one field trip, his bullying of Peter had worsened, and Angelika had to rush to Peter's aid whenever she got the chance. But sometimes she wasn't able to protect him and Peter didn't fight back often so he still received bruises. She decided to bury her anger and shoved her textbook in her backpack.
The bell rang and Ms. Johansson waved the students out of her class. Peter, MJ, Ned and Angelika all filed out together, but of course, Flash had to throw a few comments in the air as soon as they entered the hall.
"Hey Penis Parker! Bet you can't make Captain America come in for the project!" He shouted, he and his friends laughing as they travelled in the opposite direction.
Angelika grumbled under her breath as Peter let out a long sigh.
"Get lost, Flash!" MJ shouted, flipping them off with a glare.
Ned nudged Peter in the side and he looked up, raising an eyebrow at his best friend.
"Want to make the Death Star from scratch?" He said, grinning.
Peter instantly brightened, nodding vigorously.
"Dude you should come to the tower today." He said and Angelika cleared her throat.
"Guys we should probably work on that project today too." She said, before glancing at MJ. "How about we all go to the Tower after school? Is that fine with your parents?"
Ned's eyes sparked and MJ nodded with a gentle smile. They continued walking down the hall before entering the cafeteria. They sat together at a table, and pulled out their lunches. Angelika opened her backpack and grabbed four containers, handing each one to all of them. There was still one container left, which she'd give Grace later.
