Have you ever been too tall to consider yourself "stylish"?

If so, then this post is for YOU!

If you're a tall woman, don't feel that you need to shy away from doing your passion.
You can never make an excuse for not being stylish....ANYONE can be stylish if they have the knowledge to be!

So in this blog post I am going to share with you 13 tall girl style tips so that you can stop making excuses for not being stylish, (and take it from me, because I'm a personal stylist!)

1. Create some curves to your shapeless body. If you have a tall figure and a straight body shape, your main aim should be to create some curves to your frame, (if you want a more feminine look).
To create curves, add a waist belt to your look to draw in the waistline. This will make your body more curvy. An hourglass figure can also be morphed into shape by doing this method.

If you are wanting the square look, skip the waist belts and go symmetrical.

2. Jumpsuits are essential. If you haven't been into jumpsuits for whatever reason in the past, you should definitely put all that behind you and start wearing them more.

As a tall girl, jumpsuits are essential for looking stylish.
Jumpsuits were originally made for longer frames which makes it perfect up against your tall figure. On girls 5"9, jumpsuits look that bit better because it's a one-piece outfit that has great length.

Jumpsuits can work with any colourings and personalities so don't feel limited to your options.

If you want the curvy look, go for a jumpsuit that has a waist tie.

Pick a jumpsuit in your favourite colour or pattern for an added pop to your outfit.

Accessories that go well with jumpsuits are large pendant earrings, chunky necklaces, classy sandals, an added blazer for layering and heels. It's entirely your choice how you choose to style your jumpsuit!

3. Thigh-high boots are your best friend. At first thought, you would think that all shoes and footwear can work with long legs, but that is far from the truth. The truth is that you need to pick your footwear carefully in order to dress your body with style.

Thigh-high boots make your legs look really slim and curvy, whilst the illusion of a smaller lim is in place.

But be sure to avoid booties, especially a stubby boot. It doesn't look right when you have long legs and wear appropriate jeans with a really short pair of booties.

Just know that when you have long legs, wearing a pair of thigh-high boots with a dress or a skirt, you will look the bomb.

4. Match your accessories. A great way to make your look combined and more "put-together" is by matching your accessories.
Try pairing your handbag or clutch with your killer heels to make your look really stand out.

When you match your accessories, it helps to bring your look together and doesn't make you look out of place or shape.

You get double points if you match the items in a bright, loud colour.

It's simple really, all you have to do is match two accessories together, whether that be through colour or pattern and you will look stylish to the max!

5. Stick to the three-inch heel rule. Yes, I know what you're thinking. It may sound crazy that I'm telling you to wear heels, especially if you're a tall girl just trying to fit in. But trust me on this one.

Even tall girls need to do their best to look and feel confident.

Showing off your uniqueness in a confident way isn't unfeminine at all. You need to be a little confident in order to be powerful and look the part.
