I think that an important part of living and growing into the person that you want to become in life is by loving yourself and having great body confidence.

I don't exactly want to contradict my opinions and viewpoints, but I haven't always been happy in the body that I was given.
But I've learnt with time that I just need to accept the fact that my body belongs to me and that in order for me to live my life and enjoy the things that I do, I need to first accept my body the way that it is.

Part of me is creating this blog because I want people to experience the world of fashion and what it's like to style yourself to feel a certain way, but the other part of me is because I want to make women from all over the world in all different body shapes and at all different stages in their lives, feel better and more confident in their bodies.

So in this blog post I am going to be sharing with you some of my favourite tips for loving your body, no matter what shape, size or strength it is.

Body positivity and confidence in general starts with you....so it's time to make that change.

Dress up. A great way to start loving your body is to dress up. Try on new clothes, experiment with fashion and let your heart go wild and be free with a totally new wardrobe.

Clothes are an important part of your life because without it....well, you'd be walking the streets naked without it.
So a good way to make clothes feel like heaven is to start experimenting with fashion: seeing which things you like and don't like, what best flatters you and so on.

If you haven't tried flirting with your stylish side, I think that you are missing out on a lot because one of the most funnest parts of life, in my opinion, is to get all dressed up....even when you've got nowhere to go!

A good read. Having something good to read is such a great thing, especially when you aren't in the right frame of mind.

Reading can be used as an escapism method to hide from your problems and the real world, and chances are that if you have read this far in my blog post, you love a good read.
Well, I would suggest going book-hunting after reading this blog post of mine so that you can find a good book for yourself to read.

If you want to gain more knowledge on how to be more body confident, I would suggest trying to find a book relating to mental health and that's in the "self-help" category.
If you want to find out more about a certain topic that you are studying at college or school, you could read more books to further your understanding.
Or even if you just want to read a book to find out about someone else's life story....there's that too!

Just as long as you are distracting your mind from your thoughts around body image and other irrelevant topics.

Meditation. Meditation is a great way to earn self respect and you will earn a lot of benefits after doing meditation for a certain amount of time.

When you decide to meditate, you should set specific aims or goals for yourself whether that's each week or each month and then you will slowly start to see the benefits of doing it.

Doing things like yoga can really help with the mind and it can also help with your body too, in the sense that you will gain more muscle, lose more body fat, tone areas of the body and your brain will be happy and healthy alongside your body.

Set an example. You will feel a lot more encouraged to have better body confidence if you imagine that you are inspiring younger women to have healthy minds and bodies.

I can relate to this tip, because I have experienced it for myself and I can confirm that you will feel inspired to have better body confidence if you know that you're setting an example.
