A/n: Hey everyone, i know that my notes are usually at the end of the chapter, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up. I just wanted to let you know, from this chapter onwards, we'll be switching point of views. This is because I think that some parts are better seen through Jimin's eyes while others are better seen through Hyeri's. Anyway, happy reading! <3

Jimin POV

Something seemed a little off with Hyeri after school that day. This puzzled Jimin, because he'd been ecstatic throughout the day. She didn't talk to him at all, and when they got home, she went inside her room and shut the door. When didn't eat dinner and only got a drink of water by 9:30, he decided to talk to her.

"Hyeri?" he knocked on her door. He got no reply. Jimin sighed and entered the room.

She was reading a book, but she had a rather annoyed expression on her face. Jimin then noticed that her book was upside down and stifled a laugh.

"Hyeri, what's wrong?" he asked, waving away the book from her hands.

She looked up at him blankly. "Nothing's wrong. Why would you think something's wrong?" she asked, maintaining a deadpan face.

"You haven't talked to me all day, and you don't seem alright" he replied, pulling up a chair and sitting down.

"Me? I'm doing just fine. I just figured you wanted to spend the day with Namjoon and Minhyuk-ssi," she replied, glaring at James.

Jimin raised his eyebrows. He hadn't expected this.

"Give me my book back," she said icily.

He sighed and waved her book back over.

"I didn't mean to make you feel less valued, Hyeri. I was just excited that I got to go to school with one of my best friends," he said sincerely.

"That's quite all right. I mean, you should do whatever you want to," Hyeri replied, going back to 'reading.'

Jimin looked at his hands, distraught. It had been less than a week, and he'd already blown it.

Hyeri POV

'Why are you being such a child? ' Hyeri thought to herself a few minutes after Jimin exited her room. She knew he was being genuine. She felt annoyed at herself. She sat there for a good 15 minutes, debating internally on what would be the best course of action before getting up off of her bed and  tiptoeing out of her room.

 Hyeri's face softened.

Jimin had made her sandwich and left it outside her door. With it, she saw a note.

'I'm sorry' it read in neat print.

She walked inside the living room quietly. It was pretty late, so  she didn't want to disturb Jimin in case he was asleep.

She saw him sitting on the couch, drawing something.

"Hey," he looked up at her, smiling apologetically.

"Hey," she replied, sitting down beside him.

Hyeri took a deep breath.

"I know you didn't mean to make me feel less valued, and I'm happy you're excited. I'm not the best at bonding with people, though, and that's why I just feel a little like I might ruin your guys' friendship," she looked up at Jimin, who seemed shocked. " Also, as you know, it's been some time since I've had a friend. That's why I just feel a little insecure, like you might end up leaving me," Hyeri finished sadly, fidgeting with her hands.

 Jimin replied almost immediately.

"You never need to worry about that. I won't leave you, my friend. I also firmly believe that you guys will get along splendidly. Give them a chance."

"There was never a need for you to apologize to me. It's good of you to be so understanding, but I'm sorry for acting so bratty," she added, giving him a smile.

"Don't worry about it," he replied, pulling her into a hug.

She sighed and sank into it deeper, glad that it was all sorted out.

A/n:

Hi everyone!

This is what, an average length chapter? I hope it wasn't too short. It feels odd to have a "major event" take place and fizzle out into the next day in their lives. I hope you all had an amazing day today. If it wasn't so good, then I hope this chapter made your day a little bit better. Thank you for reading my story. Please share your thoughts with me in the comments; don't be a silent reader.

Stay safe and healthy.

I purple you all!

With love,

Prisha
