Two days had passed after the unexpected meeting with a demon, which Ahrin oddly found breathtaking.

In front is the black candle, standing on one of the candle cups, eyeing it closely.

Mind hazy, getting dizzy, she tried hard to remember the face of the man whom she bought it, but even the place seemed lost in her mind.

Ahrin can't find anything relevant.

She tried to ask Mr. Google about some summoning candles and demons who're acting like genies, but all she got were fantasy books.

She also walked throughout the neighborhood, trying to decipher the exact route. Her tipsy self wobbled, but to no avail; she couldn't find any.

So Ahrin lit the candle, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath.

"I wish for Park Jisung."

And then she blew.

This time, she caught a metallic smell in the smoke floating in the air, making her nose scrunch.

"Is that blood?" she whispered.

"You really have a habit of summoning me while eating, huh?"

Ahrin shrieked at his sudden, familiar, deep voice.

Jisung is casually leaning on her closed front door, arms crossed, while nonchalantly looking at her.

"Um, uh, take a seat?"

"As you wish," he lazily walked and sat on a couch in front of her.

"So..."

The demon just raised a brow.

"Do you know anything about this summoning candle thing?"

Jisung's eyes flickered on the candle for a second. "A little."

Ahrin's ears perked up as she eagerly looked at him.

"Just that candle being used for summoning a demon, and that demon will play the role of a dark genie, granting dark wishes for its master."

"That's too obvious," she mumbled. "So I'm your master now?"

"Obviously"

"You'll do as I say?"

Jisung took a sharp exhale and said, "Anything you want."

"Okay, so you can make food for me!"

"No," he quickly answered, and her shoulders slumped.

"What, why?"

"I'm lazy"

"BUT I'M YOUR MASTER!"

The demon rolled his eyes and asked, "What do you want?"

"Um, since this is your kind of first mission, just a bucket of chicken!"

"Is that it?"

"Oh, oh, add 2 soda cans."

"Alright," and with a simple flick of a finger, the food she wished for appeared on the coffee table.

"Wooooaahhh," she gawked at the sight. "Is this really edible?"

"You think?" He threw her an annoyed look.

Ahrin broke out in a chuckle and ran to fetch two plates, chopsticks, and a bowl of cooked rice.

"Here since you said I called you while eating." she said, pushing the utensils in front of him with a wide smile.

"You do know what I eat, right?" he asked, squinting his eyes at the girl who's now digging for a piece of chicken.

"Hmm, whot?" she asked, half-interested while chewing.

"Blood"

The chicken immediately dropped from her hand, and her jaw dropped as she slowly looked up at him.

"I'm feeding off blood, eating livers and intestines."

"I didn't ask!" she shouted, stopping him.

Jisung snorted at how panicked and disgusted she looked.

He then slid off the couch and comfortably sat on the carpeted floor, scooping an ample amount of rice, which he then placed on his plate.

"But I enjoy eating human foods. Thanks for this." he said with a lopsided grin.

Ahrin groaned, "Never mind, I lost my will to eat."

"Eat up"

"Or what?"

"I'll eat you."

His pitch-black eyes flashed red.

"Sooo deliciously," he then seductively licked his lips, the tip of his fangs showing.

That made Ahrin's breath hitched, scolding herself for thinking the dirty way around.

It's not like he'll eat you like what you're thinking, stupid.
