Exhaustion

I stand in the hot shower, letting the hot water stream onto my body, relaxing me. The steam settles around my body like a comforting blanket that only makes me want to close my eyes to for the sleep I so desperately need. I blink open my eyes and gaze through the steam to find myself leaning against the cold tile wall, half asleep. My knees start to buckle and every ounce of my body is screaming to give up and just lay down and allow the pitter patter of the water to lull me to sleep.

It almost becomes unbearable, how exhausted I get.
