Chapter 5

A few days went by and I had somewhat forgotten about the ring incident. Though Hermione did tell Ron and Harry about it as we had made jokes. But Draco was a little awkward with me after this when I would pass him in the halls. He wouldn't shout vulgar words at me as he usually did anymore but I didn't really mind. It was the next sunday night and me,Hermione,Ron and Harry were sitting in my dorm room playing some music. Harry and Hermione were sitting on her bed,Harry was trying to show Ron some wand tricks as Ron was sitting in front of them on the floor. Hermione was watching Harry but was mostly there in case he was about to kill Ron, and I was sitting on my bed across from them just watching Ron almost get killed by Harry.
"Stop that hurt!" Ron would yelp out
"Well don't move than " Harry yelled
"You both are doing it wrong " Hermione explained , Ron stood up and tried to grab Harry's wand. Harry and Ron started pulling and tugging on the wand trying to get it out of each other's hands. "Stop! You Imbeciles" Hermione yelled out as she went in between Ron and Harry and grabbed the wand out of both of their hands.
"Here" Hermione said as she looked towards me and threw the wand into my lap
Ron turned back and asked " Can you give that to me y/n?"
"No, you're on time out" I laughed as I started flipping the wand in my fingers.
Ron sighed and sat down in front of Harry again and pushed onto Harry's leg.
"Stop" Harry said annoyed
" I'm not even touching you, " Ron explained.
"I can-" Harry said when Hermione interrupted " Shut it , both of you " She said annoyed.
"I'm bored " Ron moaned
"And?"Hermione stated
"Let's do something, Want to go to Hagrids ?" Ron asked
" Its after hours Ron , well get in trouble " Hermione explained
"So?" Ron and Harry said at the same time
"Ugh" Hermione sighed
"Im down " i stated
Hermione looked back at me annoyed.
" fine fine, but if we get house points taken away that's on you " She stated as she jumped up off her bed and slipped on her shoes.
"Ok we're going ?" Ron laughed as he stood up from the floor and smirked
"Obviously" Harry laughed as he stood up from the bed.
Few minutes later We all walked out of the common room and headed down the hallway towards Hagrid's Hut. When we reached the middle of the hallway I realized that I had forgotten my wand again for the billionth time.
"Hey ima run back to grab my wand real quick i'll meet you at Hagrids " i explained when as i started walking back to my room
"Be safe !" Hermione quietly yelled back at me as they continued walking.
As I arrived back into my dorm room I quickly grabbed my wand and started heading towards the door to exit once again. As I was walking down the halls by myself I heard someone shout something at me from behind me. At first I thought it was Ron or Harry thinking that they waited for me so I turned around and actually saw that it was Draco.
I was confused at first as to why he was talking to me but also to what he was doing out here also.
"What" i asked as i looked back towards him
" You're not supposed to be out you know " He mocked
"I don't think I care " I smirked as I placed my hands on my cheeks acting surprised.
He gave me an annoyed face as he continued walking the same direction towards me.
"Where are you going ?" i asked looking as he arrived right next to me
"Mind your business " he said as he was looking ahead of us
"Ok well your walking with me so i think i should know why you idiot " i mocked at him
" No you are walking with me " he mumbled
"I was walking first " I mumbled and soon or later me and Draco got into a mini argument about each other while walking through the halls. But then we heard a creek.
Draco was still mumbling on how much of an annoyance i was too him and how embarrassed he is to even be walking with me when i interrupted him
"Did you hear that" i stopped walking and grabbed Draco's arm
He pulled his arm away " Don't touch-" we heard another loud creek.
We both stood there in silence looking at the end of the pitch black hallway looking to see anything in the distance when a few seconds later Draco grabbed onto my arm and pulled me into running with him in the opposite direction.
"Wha-" i yelped
"It's Flich, " he explained.
We ran down the hall till Draco quickly grabbed, opened a random door in the hallway and pulled me and him into the room and shut the door behind him.
I ended up realizing he pulled me into a tiny closet with him.
" Wha-" i tried to say as he put his hand over my mouth
"Shut up you git " he whispered
I grabbed his hand off of my mouth and shoved it away from me, I was leaning against the closet wall and the draco was practically on top of me, my face was inches away from his chest as he was taller than me . We were so close I could hear his heart beating next to my ear.
"Hmm i'm starting to think you did this on purpose ya nasty" i whispered to him.
Draco look down at me his face inches away from mine
"I'd ratch avada kadabra myself right now than be in here you. " he stared at me
I rolled my eyes and started to look out the closet door window.
Soon we see Flich start to walk past the door. Me and Draco tried are hardest to stay silent.
Draco rested his arms on the shelves above my head and was leaning on me in the closet.
I would look up and just see Draco's face trying to look out the window and his chain would dangle in my face. The chain would sway in my face and ended up hitting me in the face.
I picked up my hand and moved Dracos chain out of my face , Draco looked down and grabbed onto my hand
"What are you doing?" He asked, trying to whisper since Flich was standing outside the door.
I looked back up at him and then looked at him holding onto my hand . I pulled my hand out of his grip and responded " it kept hitting me".
Draco rolled his eyes and whispered " you're such a baby " and picked his head back up and started looking back out the window again. I was just staring at Draco's face waiting for him to move or say anything. FIlch was walking through the hall so slowly holding a lantern looking for kids out of their common rooms. . Few minutes later Draco creeped open the closet door and bent down and started to look out watching to see if he could see Filch. He opened the door fully and moved off of me and started to walk out of the closet and into the hallway. As I got up and started to walk out of the closet, Draco pushed the door close and it hit me in the face.
"Ow! You Moth-" I mumbled to him. I pushed the door open again and pushed it shut.
Draco had already started to walk away down the hall,I stayed there for a bit just looking at him walk down the hallway debating on whether I should go over to hagrids with the rest of them or just head back to the common room. I ended up just walking back over to my common room since I was already tired and annoyed. Later that night Hermione asked me what happened when she finally came back to the dorm room,I don't know why I just never mentioned the closest thing with Draco to Hermione.I just ended saying something like i was tired or i didn't feel like going, She never questioned it.
