Incantata

Chapter 12

As Draco walked out to the door Hermione ran into him and was walking out to the patio towards me.
"Hey uh, you alright?" She asked as I had my hands on his face.
"No" I whispered and I threw my hands down.
Hermione walked over to me and grabbed onto my shoulders.
"Wanna talk about it?" she asked as she was trying to look in my eyes.
"No " I whispered to her , I looked over at the box onto the table that Draco had left.
Hermione looked over at the box as well and asked " what is that ?" I looked back over at her and started walking towards the box.I picked up the box and looked back towards Hermione.
"Nothing" I whispered back holding the box behind my back.
Hermione walked up towards me and grabbed onto my shoulder.
"Do you want to cut the cake now or we can go back to the dorm, anything you want" she explained as she was rubbing my back.
"I don't want to spoil the party everyone worked so hard for" i said as i whipped my face
"Don't think about that, do what makes you comfortable" she said, still rubbing my back.
"I just want to make it in my bed and.. Cry " I said as I started walking towards the door. Hermione whispered back at me "alright".
As I got back into my room I realized I was still holding Draco's gift in my hand.
I sat on my bed and placed the box into my lap, I pulled onto one of the white ribbons letting the bow change its shape on top of the box. I wiped the tear that was falling down my cheek on my face and slowly opened the top off the box.
"Woah" I said. I realized that inside the box was the very ring that I had taken from Draco previously that year.
I picked up the ring out of the box and started gazing over it again, the crystal still blue and still shining throughout every light inside of the room. I picked up the box off of my lap and put it in on my end table. I place the ring onto my finger and lay my head down onto my pillow. I don't know why, I was scared that one of those freaky visions was going to happen again but suddenly I didn't mind. I was kinda hoping that it was going to happen since i just wanted to be anywhere but here. Layed there for a few seconds and decided to grab the ring off of my finger and place it onto my end table right next to me. After that I closed my eyes hoping to leave and escape where I was.
I opened my eyes and soon saw a light, daylight. I was looking out a window though it wasn't mine.
I look and see I'm sitting on a couch, a couch inside a cabin watching the sun set out the window as the golden sun is hitting my skin. As i was acknowledging my surroundings and realizing that i was not myself nor i was someone i have ever even seen before i look and down at my wrist and see the very vision ring placed onto my ring finger. I grabbed onto the ring and pulled the ring off of my ring finger and started holding it into my palm.
One thing I did notice that was different than before was I felt like I could move. As i realized this i stood up from the chair and started making my way around the cabin, i found the door that looked like the bedroom and walked right in. I saw a beautiful scenery and a beautiful bed. I turned my head towards the door and saw a mirror, as I saw this I started walking towards it. As I walked up to the mirror I looked down and saw a beautiful white dress I was wearing. I recognized it from my vision and smiled. I finally approach the mirror and I look and see.. Myself. I saw myself, It was me , me standing in front of the mirror watching myself. As I was looking at myself I looked towards the window and saw someone sitting on the edge of the pier. I felt myself moving , i was moving out of my bedroom towards the door and i started walking out on the green grass. I looked down towards my feet and saw myself wearing black strappy sandals, the same one I was wearing before. And as I was walking down the pier hitting a different piece of wood with each step I kept my vision onto the person sitting on the edge of the pier. As I was looking at the person they looked back and then I finally saw their face. I recognized them , as I was walking up I saw Draco sitting on the pier looking at me. He was wearing a white button up and some black shorts. He had a wet pile of rocks that was laying on the side of him. As i was finally approaching him i was confused , confused as to what was going on.I walked to the very edge of the pier and sat down right next to him. Draco looked to me and went and grabbed my hand and held it in his lap.
" I love you y/n," Draco said to me as the golden sun was hitting his cheek. But then before I could say anything back I felt a bright sun ray hitting my face.
I opened my eyes and realized I had fallen asleep. I was in my own bed asleep laying down on my side as the morning sun was facing my skin. I knew what had happened to me was a dream, dreams feel fake. What i felt was real, i like i was actually there and i wasn't dreaming.
As I sat up in my bed I recognized I was still wearing my birthday dress from before. I looked over towards Hermione's side of the bed and I saw her knocked out asleep. I rubbed my eyes and noticed that the ring was back onto my ring finger. I thought that was weird but i was more confused on what was going on.
