Chapter 17

As i pulled my hand away from him i stepped back looking at his face
"I'm sorry " he whispered as his head was hanging down
"Uh- i don't think i understand what's going on" i whispered trying to acknowledge what he was trying to say.
Draco just looked at me with no emotion , and he just started to walk away.
"Seriously?" I yelled as he was walking off down the hallway.
"You don't think after all that's happened i deserve an explanation?" I yelled at him.
And then I started running , I ran after him down the hall. As I was approaching him, Draco looked back at me and stopped walking.
"No, no you don't get to do this" i yelled as i ran up to him
"You don't get to use me and then throw me away like trash, " I started as I was trying to catch my breath and the tears rolling down my face.
"You don't get to hold me an- and touch me an-" i tried to explain as i was looking into his eyes.
"I have to" he whispered as he reached his hand out to touch my cheek
I pushed his hand away and just looked into his eyes
"You won't understand " he said as he looked towards me
"Than explain it" i stated " you say i won't understand yet you never explain it"
" I can't!" he yelled, " I can't"
I stayed looking at him watching his eyes "You're a coward"
Draco stayed silent and didn't say another word until he finally whispered
"I talked to my father today"
I looked at him and he continued
"And he said that i can't talk to you anymore" Draco stated as he took a deep breath
I stared at him as i was watching him explain this to me
"You're talking to me right" i chuckled
Draco stayed dead silent not saying another word
"Why? For what?" i asked
"You're a y/n, he made it clear he doesn't want them in my family and i have to respect that"
Draco tried stating as i cut him off
"Shut up, shut up don't give me the papa's boy type shit you know damn well if you really wanted to be with me you would fight for me, not just give up" i argued
"You don't think i tried ?" he asked angrily
"No i don't" i responded
He stayed silent and just watched me
I smirked and just filled my eyes with tears as I looked down at the floor. I looked down at the ring that he had given me on my ring finger. I pulled it off and held it in my palm
"Why did you give me this?" i asked
Draco looked down to my palm and looked back up at me
"Excuse me?" he asked
"Why did you give me this if you obviously don't care?" i whispered
"I do care about you y/n" he whispered back grabbing onto my hand
I pulled it away and stated
" No, you don't. You gave me a ring that allows me to see myself happy with you but yet you take that away from me every chance you get."
"I do not" he answered
"Yes, you do. Everytime you do something stupid or we argue and all those happy memories that i want to hold onto are pushed out." i whispered
"Stop doing things for other people and start doing them for yourself" I whispered as I held the ring up in the air.
As draco stayed silent i pulled the ring down and placed it in Draco's shirt pocket
"I guess i won't be needing this anymore than" i whispered
Draco looked down into his shirt pocket and looked back at me
"That was a gift" he said
"A gift that you're not allowing me to have " i answered
Draco pulled the ring out of his pocket , he pulled my hand out and place it in my hand
"Take it" he stated
"No" i whispered
"y/n take it " he said a little louder grabbing onto my hand
"No!" i yelled at i dropped the ring on the floor
As the ring hit the floor everything went black, like out of nowhere i wasn't where i was standing before. Like I was back in my vision except I wasn't alone.
