Chapter 16

Later that night I ended up walking back to my dorm room , hoping that I would get a chance to talk to Hermione and hopefully sort of explain. As I opened the door I saw Hermione sitting on her bed talking with Ron and the twins.
As I walked in the room I got quiet with everyone looking at me. Fred just looked away and ignored my presence.
"Hey.." I said awkwardly as I tossed my shoes to the side of my bed.
"Get back from your boyfriends?" Fred said sarcastically
I looked up at him and just rolled my eyes, "Fred? Can I talk to you?" i said as i was staring at him.
Fred didn't look up and ignored me
"Ok? Seriously?" i said as my voice cracked , i said annoyed
Hermione kicked Fred's leg and looked over at me
Fred finally stood up and walked out my dorm room door, as I followed him.
As i shut the door Fred finally looked at me in the hallway
"What?" he said
"I'm sorry" I said quietly , " I'm sorry that I couldn't give you what you wanted," I said as I pulled my hair out of my face.
Fred stayed looking me silent watching me in distress
"It's not that" he said quietly
"Then what is it?" i asked , "Look i know i messed up but i can- i can't explain it" i stated
"Explain what?" he asked
"Explain why at the end of the day i want to arrogant asshole over this wonderful, funny, cute ,kind asshole" i laughed
Fred smirked
"It's called love" he said quietly
"Love" I repeated to myself acknowledging my feelings for Draco
"I can't explain it " i whispered " but i do" i said smiling
"It's ok i know what it feels like" he whispered
Fred took a deep breath and pulled me in for a hug " im sorry" he whispered in my ear.
As we both ended the hug i whispered back " It's alright, i was being an asshole too"
Fred messed up my hair and we both laughed , we turned around and started walking back towards my door as he kept his arm around my shoulder.
As we walked into the room i saw Hermione and everyone else watching me
"Made up?" Ginny asked
Fred smiled and pushed my head , "I guess so ".
Ron's eyes didn't faze me he just looked up at Hermione and pouted
I looked over at Ron and Hermione and asked " what?"
Hermione looked over at me and stated "After all the horrible things he's done you choose him over us?"
I walked up to Hermione and flicked her hair
"I'm not choosing anyone over anyone" i muttered
"Feel's like it" Ron whispered, I walked towards Ron and slapped the back of his head.
"Ow" he yelled
"Shut up" i laughed , Ron smirked
"Soooo we all good?" George added as he was smiling
"I guess" Hermione jokes , I smiled and sat down on the bed next to Hermione.
A few minutes later i heard a knock on the door
"Who's that?" Ron asked as he was stuffing his face with chocolate frogs
"I'll get it " i murmured as i stood up from the bed
"Probably Harry" Fred laughed as Ron looked scared seeing as the chocolate frogs he was eating was Harry's
As I approached the door I stuck my hand out and grabbed onto the door knob pulling the door open. To my surprise it wasn't Harry and it was actually Draco standing at my door.
"Hey" I said as my face lit up seeing him, I looked back to look at the whole room watching me and Draco.
"I have to tell you something" he muttered looking back at everyone
"Ok," I said , looking back at Draco , I started walking towards the hallway and shut the door behind me.
As we got out into the hallway I saw Draco's face fall like something important was on his mind.
"What's wrong?" i whispered trying to look at the glistening in his eyes and i cupped my hands on his face
"I can't be with you" he whispered
My heart fell out of my chest and right after those words i was feeling like everything was in slow motion. I was trying to processes it
"What?" i asked as my voice cracks pulling my hands away from him
