Chapter 9

As I was walking back the hallways were so empty , most people that day had gone to hogsmeade or they were anywhere else. I started walking fast trying to get away from the great hall when Draco had also opened the doors and started following me down the hallway as I turned back facing Draco
" you're like obsessed with me, " I said sarcastically as I turned back around again and resumed walking. He kept following me and responded " I think you are more obsessed with me"
I stopped walking and turned around standing right in front of Draco as he was walking up to me.
"You're the one following me " I said, giving him an attitude.
"Only cause you act like you are this saint when in reality you're just as messed up as me." He muttered, giving me the same attitude back.
"What? How i'm just being myself and if that's what you interpret then that's on you " i said as i poked his chest.
"You're fake all the time, to all your friends " he said pushing my finger away
"Oh really? Name one time" I asked as I pushed his hand that was pushing mine.
"All the time! When your with Potter and those stupid idiots, Or actually when you flirt with that Weasley. " He muttered
"Fred..?" i laughed " How on earth am i fake flirting with Fred..?" i asked rolling my eyes
"Cause there is no one way that that's who you actually like, It's a setup because you are only flirting with him because you want to get them jealous" He said as he grabbed onto my t-shirt pulling me in.
I grabbed his hand off of my t-shirt and pulled it off.
" Who am I supposedly trying to get jealous ? i yelled
"Me" he yelled, throwing his hands up into the air.
I was taken aback , my eyes widened and I just stared at Draco's face, He leaned closer to me and whispered " I told you, you're the one obsessed with me ".
I squinted my eyes and leaned closer to him and whispered back " well did it work ?"
Draco stayed silent and was just gazing into my eyes. I raised my eyebrows, motioning that I wanted him to answer. After a few seconds i whispered again , " well i guess it did" i lifted my shoulders and pulled my face away from his. As i was pulling away Draco grabbed my shirt again and leaned me back close to him as his face was inches away from mine.
" This conversation isn't over yet y/n" He whispered, holding me up close to his face. I grabbed onto his hand again that was holding my shirt and whispered back
"I said it is" And pulled his hand away from me again and started walking backwards down the hallway,Draco just stood there watching me walk away. As I walked right to the end of the hall where the other hallway meets, I ran into Hermione walking out of the library with Ginny.
"Oh hey! You're barely getting out of the great hall?" Hermione asked as she peeked her head down the hall spotting Malfoy standing on the other side. " You barely missed Malfoy " she laughed to Ginny but also rolled her eyes.
"Yea! Yea lets go " i grabbed onto Hermione and Ginny's arms and started walking down the hall with them.
As we reached the end of the hall and started walking back towards the gryffindor common rooms i kept looking back trying to see if Malfoy was following me again, but he never was. As we finally reach the door Hermione grabbed me by the shoulders and asked
"Ok, what's wrong with you?" She tried to look into my eyes seeing maybe if i took something or if i was crying or something.
"Nothing " i pleaded to her " i'm fine"
She let go of my shoulders and sighed
"Alright, if you say so" She turned and said the Gryffindor common room code and we all walked back into the common room and headed upstairs to our room.
As we finally reach our room and i kick off my shoes and jump back onto my bed Ginny asks me
" So y/n, do you know what you're doing for your birthday yet?"
Hermione peeked her head up looking at me and remembering that my birthday was in a couple of days. I looked up and Hermione and Ginny not responding when Hermione yelled,
"Oh my god y/n! We need to throw you a party!" She yelled
" For what? So you can get drunk and makeout with Ron again?" Ginny gigeled
I lifted my head up off of my bed so fast , "WHAT!" i yelled
Hermione slapped Ginny's arm and yelled "Ginny!" . Ginny's face felt not realizing that I didn't know.
"Hermione Granger YOU MADE OUT WITH RON AND DID NOT TELL ME !" I yelled as I threw one of my pillows at her.
" it wasn't really me " she explained as she caught the pillow that was getting thrown at her face.
"Oh really who was it " Ginny laughed
Hermione looked and stayed silent and finally muttered " harry..?"
"Why did you not tell me !" i yelled
"I didn't tell anyone , i'm embarrassed" she explained as she put the pillow onto her face
"You told ginny!" i motioned
" She didn't tell me i caught them " Ginny explained while laughing
"Mione .... Tsk tsk tsk no wonder you were avoiding ron today " i laughed.
Ginny looked over and asked " You avoided Ron!?"
Hermione still had her face in the pillow and isn't responding
"Don't avoid him! That's mean" Ginny said as she grabbed the pillow from Hermione's face and threw it back at me.
I cackled and threw myself back onto my bed. Hermione and Ginny laughed about that awkward kiss the rest of that night as Ginny decided to sleep over.
