"B-but you can't do that!!" Ash protested as he put his hands on the principal's table. "I'm sorry but I have to, it's the rules," the principal calmly said. You've had enough of that talk and you barged into the door and firmly said "Wait!"

"Yes?" the principal queried. "Give him a chance," you simply said, your eyes showing determination and anger. "What? Uhh...I uh.....alright then," she replied. "If Ash passes all the exams we're having in 2 weeks, you let him stay. If he fails one exam, even by one point, then he leaves, is that a deal?" you stated, holding out your hand. The principal hesitated for a second but finally managed to say "Deal," as she took your hand in a handshake symbolizing the deal. "But if he fails, it's goodbye," the principal said.

You and Ash left the office, and you still had 45 minutes of the free period. "Thanks for your help, Y/N," Ash said and hugged you. "Don't thank me yet, you still have those exams to go, and you need to explain everything to me when we get back to the room," you said and pulled Ash behind you.

"Alright, time to revise," you said and grabbed your books out. You decided to use them as answer sheets. "So what happened in elementary?" you questioned as you sat next to Ash, on his bed.

"So here's what happened. During my last year of elementary, I had to do an entrance exam for a high school and my friend made a bet with me to see who can guess the most answers correctly. So on the day of the exam, my friend and I just did what we bet each other on and when I got the mail, I found out that I got a score of 85/100. The school selections were Kalos High, Snowbelle High, and a few more in different regions," Ash explained.

You knew the scores very well even though you've never done a test. When a student gets 0-10 points out of 100, they will have to stay in elementary for another year. If students get 20-40, they can go to schools like Staleport High, in the Hoenn region so they could do preparations for a year then go to a high school. 70/100 is a pass so if students get higher than 70, they can go to schools like Eterna High, in the Sinnoh region, or Jubilfe High, also in the Sinnoh region. Finally, if students get a score higher than 80 points, they can go to all of the high schools in the world and the best ones are Kalos High, the school you study in, Anistar High, Shalour High, Nimbasa High, and a few others.

"What am I going to do!!! I don't want to leave this school and most of all, I don't want to leave you!!!" Ash cried. You saw a tear fall down his cheek and you hugged him immediately. Your ears touched his you tightened your hug when you sensed anger inside Ash. "Don't be sad, don't give up yet, it's not over, I'll help you, we can get through this," you quietly said. His eyes widened and a little tint of determination appeared inside his heart and you could feel the fire burning inside.

"So which subjects are you confused at?" you asked your boyfriend, who gulped at the fact that he needs to put more effort into schoolwork. Ash stayed silent and looked down. "Uhh...math, french, PE, music, science, and all the others except English," he replied.

"That's a lot but don't worry, you can probably do grade 8 music once I help you with that subject," you smirked. "So let's start off with music then, shall we?"

Ash nodded and you went over to the piano and showed him all the basics of music and thus, you had time to show him some music theory too. "It's break now, let's just continue. Now you need to try and sight-read," you said. You taught Ash the notes and now he can do sight-reading, which is amazing.

Breaktime passed swiftly and your effort really helped Ash. You grabbed an ice lolly from the fridge and headed to your next class with your boyfriend. "We'll do Math revision after school," you informed. "Seriously?! I'm already tired," Ash whined. "Well, you don't have a choice, do you? I don't want this relationship to end, and you feel the same too," you said and shrugged as you two went to your next class. "Great...we have math, ughhh now there's even more to revise," Ash muttered.
