Chapter 28 - "ARE YOU SERIOUS???"

~At lunch~

"Finally, a few more weeks of school until this year ends," you sighed. "Time sure passes quickly," Dawn shrugged. "Oh yeah, Y/N, you got the highest grades in the whole year, and you're going to be awarded in the assembly after this super long lunch," Korrina excitedly said. "Yeah, you too, you're in the top 3," you said. "True, and oh yeah Clemont, you're getting an award for Science!!!" Korrina screamed.

You sweatdropped at the sudden attention you guys got and you blushed.

~Time Skip (At the end of the assembly)~

"Y/N please come up to the stage and get your prize," the principal said. You walked up the stage. "Why are they talking?" you thought, as Serena gave her super long monologue to Ash, who is shocked at what he was hearing.

"Congratulation Y/N, for getting the highest grades in the whole year group," the principal said as you took the prize and the trophy.

You left by the backstage and found Korrina waiting for you. "So...how much did you get?" she asked with imaginary stars in her eyes. "What?" you asked, super bemused at what she just said. "We get money, like a scholarship cheque," Korrina replied and your jaws dropped a little. "Ohhhhh, lemme see," you said. "$10,000 Kalosian dollars," you said, holding out your cheque. "Oooh congrats sis, I got the same!!!" Korrina cheered and you guys hugged.

You two decided to stay there until the assembly ends and you guys waited for everyone to leave before heading out yourselves. "Hey," a voice called from a fair distance behind you. "I've been looking for you."

"Ash? What are you doing here?" you asked. "I need to talk, something's up with you," he said firmly. You saw from his glare that it was about something negative. Korrina gestured to you that she'll be leaving and waiting for you outside the hall.

"Why were you lying to me?" Ash asked. "What? When did I lie to you??" you asked. "Don't hide it," he angrily said as he took a step towards you, surrounding you. "Hide what???" you innocently asked. "YOU ALMOST KILLED SERENA!!!!" Ash scolded. "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME???" you shouted.

"JUST CONFESS ALRIGHT!!!" Ash shouted back. "I have nothing to confess," you darkly said. "You do," Ash retorted. "I SAID I DON'T!!!" you yelled. "SERENA TOLD ME THAT YOU TRIED TO USE A KNIFE TO KILL HER AND YOU ALSO SLAMMED HER ONTO THE LOCKERS!!!" Ash accused. "I DIDN'T!!! HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE ME FOR THINGS I DIDN'T EVEN DO!!!" you yelled.

"I'm...sorry," Ash whispered. You angrily punched his face multiple times as he fell onto the floor. "I'm breaking up with you," you said, walking away.

"Y/N, what's wrong?" Korrina asked, as a soulful tear dropped down. "I...I...broke up with him," you whispered.

"WHATTTT????" Korrina screamed on top of her lungs. "You looked so cute together!!!"

You nodded and ran away, crying your eyes out.

"Look, I talked to Ash and he feels really bad for doing it, so can you forgive him?" Korrina pleaded. "I don't want to stay at my dorm," you muttered. "You can stay here if you want, but it's not good to stay like that," Korrina explained. "I know how mad you are Y/N but still."

"Fine," you whispered and took a nap to clear your mind. "Ash I still love you but I can't forgive you," you thought.

~The next day~

"Y/N wake up," Korrina called and you did. You got everything ready and left the dorm with your best friend.

"Oh no not you again," you thought as you looked away. "Y/N wait," Ash called. "Don't bother her, you broke her heart and expect her to get over it within a day???" Clemont scolded, as he started walking away and Ash running behind go and find out more. "Korrina told me everything so don't try anything.

You saw Serena ahead of you when you were going to class. With your agility, you blocked her way and glared at her. "Oh move over you idiot, I have to get to class," Serena retorted, as she tried to push you but failed. "Try me," you ominously said.

Serena tried to punch your face but you tiled your head to dodge and she decided to kick you in the stomach. "Right that's enough, you've gone beyond the line," you quickly said and slapped her face hard and shoved her onto the wall. "That's what you get now stay out of my way."

You stormed off and went to class. "Ughh not you again," you muttered and glared at Ash. He gulped and you sat down next to him because all the seats were occupied. You paid no attention to Ash and paid half attention to your teacher and half attention to the window next to you.

When it was time to do work, Ash stared at you with tearful eyes. "Y/N?" he whispered. Fire started to boil inside you. "What," you sarcastically said in an irritated voice. "I'm.....sorry for....all that from.....yesterday," he coughed out. "I still love you."

"I still love you too but I can't forgive you right now," you coldly said. He looked away in depression and you saw a welt on his face. "Did that punch cause that?" you thought. "Ahh stop that!!!"

~At lunch~

You decided to have lunch at the top of the school building then go to the group.

Korrina's POV
So Y/N disappeared and she's not here with the group. "What did you do to her?!" I grabbed Ash's collar. "Nothing," he nervously replied. I released him and slapped him across the face. "So Y/N did you good huh," I smirked when I saw the welt on his face.

"What was that for?!" Ash whined but gulped and twitched when my eyes glared at him like daggers. "Alright alright," he said. "You don't get away with it," I angrily said and punched his jaw. "Y/N's gonna get you, Serena," I ominously smirked. Serena gulped and looked away.

I left to find Y/N after that.

"Korrina, please come go to the office right now," the loudspeaker boomed. "What the heck?" I yelled, exaggerating my irritated shrug.

I had no choice but to go so I grabbed my bag and walked away. Ughhh the security cameras probably caught me slapping Ash but he really deserved it.

Whatever punishment I get, I don't care. All I care is for Y/N to be happy again.

"Take a seat Korrina," the head of the yeargroup said. I did as she said. "Why did you hit an innocent boy?" she asked. "Because that idiot broke my friend's heart," I explained.

~15 minutes later~

"Well Korrina, here's the detention slip, afterschool, at the hall," the head said and I frowned but accepted it.

After all that garbage talk, I left to find Y/N.

Your POV

Someone came up to the roof and you looked back to see who it was. "Korrina?" you smiled. "Hey, you okay?" she asked. "Yeah," you replied. "I just don't want to see Ash, that's all."

"Oh, okay," Korrina silently said. "Let's go, lunch is almost ending," you said and started walking.

For the rest of the day, you just kept quiet, without saying a word. You felt heartbroken, depressed and it felt like a million knives piercing into your heart.

Life can be hard...

The truth is, it's hard...

~2 weeks later~

This school year finished...

You and Ash have officially broken up...

You feel depressed...

Ash is ashamed...
