Meanwhile....
Location: Viper's HQ Las Vegas
Third person's POVIt was a beautiful morning in Las Vegas and everyone was loving it, well everyone except Micheal Rivaldo. He was sucking on his fourth cigarette stick just that morning and he was no where near done.
For the past few days, he had been smoking a lot more than usual and that was due to the fact that nothing seemed to be going well for him. Some measly journalist had come across very important information about his drug cartel and he hated the fact that since then, he had subconsciously been waiting for the factory to be found and shut down, thereby rendering him powerless.
He would be the laughing stock of the other Dons in Las Vegas and that sucked balls, he definitely didn't want that. He was trying desperately to find the journalist so he could show him the consequences of messing with The Micheal Rivaldo, but somehow, as soon as they get a whiff of where they are and plan to attack, they escape, time and time again.
If he could just find the measly person putting someone as powerful as him on edge like this, he would waste no time in ending him. A knock on his office door snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Morning Micheal" Miguel, his right hand man, the brains between the both of them, greeted as he walked into the office, his usual smirk on his face.
Miguel was very smart and so even though he was only the second in command, he basically called the shots because Micheal always listened to him. To Miguel, the Vipers were his only family and he felt a sense of extreme loyalty to them, to the extent that he would do anything to protect their reputation among the mafia community. Despite all that though, he was more of a human than Micheal.
"What is it Miguel? If you don't have any good news for me then just get out, I'm not in the mood" Micheal bit back harshly, proceeding to take another drag of his cigarette.
"Aye Mike, you don't have to be so harsh this early in the morning and especially not when I have some good news" Miguel replied calmly, taking a seat opposite Micheal. If anyone else had been in Miguel's position at the moment, Micheal, being the temperamental animal that he was would've put a bullet through their head for seating when talking to him.
"I don't care about any other news other than the one including the whereabouts of that journalist"
"Well then, I'm sure you'll love this news" Miguel replied, a sly smile on his face. At this, Micheal sat up and stubbed his cigarette against the ashtray, finally, some good news that could put his mind at ease.
"Alright go on" Micheal said, already getting impatient as he rest his hands on his desk.
"So, I was thinking about how the Foxes always managed to elude our attack every single time and then I thought that maybe one of the boys had betrayed us. Later on, I decided that they would never do that, so maybe it was one of our workers -"
"Get to the point Miguel!" Micheal spat.
"Now where's the fun in that? Just listen to my heroic tale Mike" Miguel said, making Micheal roll his eyes "Anyways, as I was saying before you so rudely interrupted me, I then informed the guys that once any of them got any information about the journalist, they should report to me and only me and not to tell anyone else"
"Some days later, one of them came to inform me of some news about the journalist. Apparently, they are now in New York, so I sent one of my personal boys to go undercover and find them and their exact location. He hasn't confirmed their location yet but he said he was onto something" he finished.
"So have you or have you not found them?" Micheal asked, his eye twitching with impatience.
"We're working on it, but before you get even more mad, I'll have you know that just yesterday, I found something or should I say someone far more interesting" Miguel chastised.
