"Hey, what is this tattoo?" Blake suddenly asked, making me look up at him. He was looking at André who looked confused.

"What?" André asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"That tattoo, what does it represent? I've seen it before" He asked, nodding at his wrists.

"Oh it's nothing, I'm just a fan of fangs" he replied, putting his other hand over the tattoo of a fang on his wrist "I'm wierd like that" he chuckled nervously when he noticed the wierd look he was getting from Blake.

"Stop it Blake, you're making him uncomfortable" I said when I noticed that his staring was making André a bit nervous.

"What? I'm just trying to figure out where I'd seen it" he replied, feigning innocence.

"Well stop it" I said, a faint smile on my face.

"Yes mom" he replied as he went back to his lunch.

An awkward moment of silence passed before André spoke up.

"So, about that game tomorrow" he started, launching us into a conversation about the big game, to which he wasn't coming due to reasons he didn't give. We also spoke about basketball in general and I found out that he was also a big fan of basketball.

Thomas didn't seem to like André very much, kept shooting him dirty looks while Blake kept staring at André's once again exposed wrist. I'm pretty sure he regret wearing a short sleeved shirt that day thanks to Blake, but still, he seemed to be enjoying his time with us.

We decided that it was best to leave school after we were done with lunch, so I texted my mum to know if she could come pick me up but unfortunately, she wasn't free at the moment.

"What are you gonna do now Dani?" Clover asked as we all stood in the parking lot. I felt so embarrassed. All of them had cars except for Clover who drove her mom's car sometimes but I still had to wait for my mom to come pick me up. Ugh!

"I don't know, I guess I could wait here until she arrives" I shrugged nonchalantly. I knew I couldn't do that as the school would be empty soon and I'd be the only one left, but I was too embarrassed to say more.

"You can't do that, the school would be empty soon and you'll be left alone" Blake said, reading my mind "Besides, we don't know when she'd arrive, so come on, I'll give you a ride. It's no big deal"

"Don't you have to practice for the big game tomorrow?" André asked Blake just as I was about to reply "Don't worry, I'll drop her off"

"You don't even know where she lives" Blake replied, looking at him.

"Yes but she could tell me" André said then looked at me "Right Dani?"

"Yeah, Dré's right Blake, I really don't want you to miss out on any opportunity to practice for the big game tomorrow" I responded "So you guys go ahead and I'll hitch a ride with him"

"Dré?" Blake asked, a confused look on his face "Why are you calling him that?"

"His name is such a mouthful" I groaned and then turned to look at André "You don't mind do you?"

"Nope, not at all" he replied, smiling "I actually like it"

"Great!" I replied and turned back to Blake "Now, how about you and Thomas get going?"

"But -" he started but I cut him off. By now, Clover and Thomas were in their own world, barely paying attention to the banter between the three of us.

"You don't want to disappoint me tomorrow, now do you?" I asked in a threatening tone, going closer to him. I doubt I looked a bit as scary as I intended to because I was the one who had to look up at his face. Ugh!
