Some minutes after I stopped, Blake stood up and I followed casually like I didn't just finish rambling on to two marble stones. I brushed my jeans off and looked up at Blake, who happened to be staring at me now with an unreadable expression on his face.

"What?" I asked, with a nervous smile "Why are you staring at me like that?"

Without replying, he came in for a hug and I hugged him back, patting his back.

"Thank you" he whispered into my ear making me shiver.

"What for?" I breathed out.

He once again didn't reply and then he pulled back slightly. His hands went to rest on my waist and mine was now on his shoulders, putting us in such an awkward position that I refused to acknowledge, especially since we were in a cemetery.

He pushed a stray strand of my hair out of my face and his had rested on my cheek. His eyes then flickered down to my lips and back to my eyes. Oh my. Is he....about kiss me? I thought as my heartbeat quickened. He confirmed my suspicions when he leaned in a bit. And then closer and closer.

As I watched him lean in, I started to panic. I'd never kissed anyone before, heck I didn't even know what to do. I wanted it to happen but I was super nervous and the questions that started going through my head made things worse. Questions like "What did my breath smell like?" and "Did I have food stuck in my teeth?". I was so nervous that I didn't even know where the next words that left my mouth came from.

"The ghosts are watching!" I blurted out and as soon as I did, I kicked myself internally. Hard. The ghosts are watching? Really?

I watched as he halted barely an inch from my face and a smile flitted across his face.

"The ghosts are watching?" He asked amused.

"Well....yeah, I mean....this is...uh" I stuttered as I blushed deeply. Both from embarassment and nervousness.

"So what?" He chuckled and he finally closed the gap between us.

At first I wasn't doing anything, just stood there as he kissed me, but then slowly I caught on. Our lips moved in sync and he was so good at it that I didn't even have time to be clumsy and bite his lip or something like that. It was a soft and meaningful kiss and I didn't want it to end but unfortunately it was either that or we'd run out of breath.

He pulled back after some time and we stared at each other as we tried to control our breaths. When we were finally calm, he flashed me a really bright smile and I mirrored it. Then he took my hand in his and lead the way out of the yard and all this while in my head, I was screaming "I just had my first kiss!!! And it was freaking Blake Harper!!!".

At the gate, he bid the guard a farewell and we go into his car. He pulled onto the street and headed back. The ride was silent and a bit awkward for me because I didn't know what to say or do, I just stared straight ahead as I played with my fingers on my laps while trying to keep a straight face.

Blake noticed my nervousness and started chuckling.

"What's so funny?" I asked still staring ahead cause I couldn't even look at him without blushing. Oh my God, I was so pathetic.

"It's nothing, you just look so innocent right now. If I had known all it took was a kiss to make you this calm, I'd have kissed you a long time ago" he replied, making my heart skip a beat. How can he just say something like that, gosh.

"Oh my God, shut up" I groaned, sinking into the chair.

"You're so cute when you're nervous and awkward" he said with a glance and a light laugh.
