Jade and Perrie - Jerrie One-shots

American Girl

Derived from Little Mix's song "American Boy" because I'm so obsessed with Jade's rap verse. Is it just me? :D

Synopsis: Jade is a singer in a british girlgroup with her best friends Leigh-Anne and Jesy. She has an American girlfriend named Perrie who is working in Los Angeles as a musician in a band & plays the guitar. They have been dating for almost 2 years and Jade is having a hard time in their long distance relationship, will the couple survive from the jealousy, misunderstandings, distance and busy schedules?

Leigh-Anne: Jade. Come on, we're up in stage in 10 minutes.

Jade: Coming! (checking her phone one last time before handing it off to their manager and taking her mic and positioning herself on the stage behind the curtains)

Jade Thirlwall is a british singer part of the trio girlgroup Little Mix, a successful girl group in the United Kingdom along with her best friends Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson. They started performing since they were in high school and once they graduated, they got signed into a big record label right away and since then, they've been a huge hit in their native country at their 1st year with their album hitting number 1 in the charts almost instantly. On their 2nd year as a band, their fanbase has grown towards the United States and decided to include them in their world tour. That's where Jade met Perrie Edwards; an American vocalist and guitarist who was just starting her career in a band with her high school friends Andre (drummer), Shawn (bassist) and Andre's sister Tinashe (pianist). When Little Mix toured Los Angeles, Perrie was one of the attendees in one of their shows alongside her nephew who was a fan of the girls. It' s love at first sight as Jade described it, seeing Perrie in the front row hoisting her nephew on her shoulders as he was singing along to their music and once they made eye-contact, the connection never ended. When the show ended, Jade requested one of their crew to send Perrie and her nephew backstage to have pictures with the group, that was the night when Jade asked the blonde for her number and facebook account.

For months they have been chatting and texting nonstop with Little Mix touring the US for 3 months with Perrie attending their shows in different states as often as she can to see the Geordie singer. Before Jade returned back to the UK, they made their relationship official and became a couple to everyone's delight which led to lots of support from their close friends and family as Jade met up with Perrie's family a few times who also watched a few of Little Mix's shows. Their relationship wasn't easy from the start since their distance from one another was the main problem especially the time difference and with Perrie's band starting to gain momentum as radio stations seem to notice their music it meant that both girls tend to be too busy and sometimes would end up with both of them having trouble finding time to talk to each other. But their feelings are so strong for one another that once they have the time to talk, they would talk for hours about everything or nothing at all as long as they hear each other's voices and see each other through a screen. For they knew were soulmates in every single way and they were willing to fight for each other. But sometimes jealousy gets the best of one another especially Jade who has a tendency to be insecure even as a big popstar and always sees herself inferior to others especially to girls who have been linked to Perrie namely, Tinashe.

Tinashe and Perrie dated a year ago before Jade and her got together and even though they ended in good terms and agreed to start a band together. Jade can't help but feel jealous at times and feel insecure when her girlfriend mentions her ex or sees her in pictures or videos of the band online with both girls being together or being close. That would sometimes lead to arguments with the American singer always reassuring her girlfriend not to worry about anything and trust her which would end up with Jade apologizing to Perrie numerous times and sending gifts to her love all the way from the UK.
