After almost a year of doing this job, of course, nakakapagod s'ya. Worth it ang lahat, yes, but I wasn't happy.

Iba yung joy na naramdaman ko noong intern pa lang ako dahil may natulungan akong tao.Iyong hindi mayaman, hindi negosyante, normal na mamamayan.

I wan't to help people— especially the vulnerable ones.

Ang tagal kong pinag-isipan ito e. Dati, pangarap ko talagang magtrabaho sa Big4 Firm hanggang sa naranasan ko nga, pero habang tumatagal, walang sense of fulfuilment. Hindi rewarding everytime na makakatapos ako ng audit report or mag-eexpress ng opinion be it unqualified or so.

Masaya naman ako sa working environment ko but my heart is really for something else. Somewhere else I should say.

"Hindi pa naman ako magreresign ngayon, tatapusin ko muna ang contract ko ano! Ayoko namang magbayad ng penalty."

True enough, medyo malaki rin kasi ang penalty kapag breach of contract e. Kaya instead na agad akong lumipat sa Government Sector, kailangan kong maghintay.

"You have a new client. This might be your last bago matapos ang contract mo." I heaved a sigh. Finally. After how many months of working hard just to finish this contract.

I prepared my things para sa preliminary engagement with the client. They were nice. It's just that I don't know until when.

This is the thing about audit engagement.

Minsan, hindi mo sure kung mabait bat al;aga angv client mo knowing the fact that they need you because of your opinion on their FS.

Before meeting them, I made sure na may alam ako sa nature ng business since it's a merchandising company. I don't know why the predecessor auditor resigned that's why I'll ask the management to allow me talk to that person.

I've been working religiously for the past weeks. I also did my investigation and inquiries about the appropriate parties to know the reputation of this company. I learned a lot not to mention that this company is not currently in good shape.

"Can I communicate with the predecessor auditor po?" We're in the middle of discussion when I asked the client. Of course, kailangan ng permission nila to communicate since it is stipulated in our Code of Ethics. Confidentiality, yes.

"Okay, we'll set a meeting for you to meet our previous auditor." Pinagpatuloy naman namin ang pag-aayos ng engagement letter although I did not accepted the audit job yet.

The meeting ended kaya naman agad kong sinagot ang tawag ni Arc.

"Yes, hello?"

"Saan ka? Tara dinner." I texted him my location kaya naman agad n'ya akong sinundo. We had our dinner at pinagtake out naman namin si Clark dahil magtatampo iyon panigurado. Sa amin muna titira si Clark hanggang sunduin s'ya ng Tatay n'ya. I don't know when will it be kaya inenroll ko muna s'ya sa private school dito sa bayan.

"Aalis na ako next year."

He stated. Busy pa rin s'yang kumain.Napahinto ako habang kumakain.

"May inassign na malaking project sa akin at ako ang magiging head engineer. Alam mo na, big break ko na siguro ito." Kitang kita ko ang happiness sa mata n'ya habang ineenjoy n'yang kainin ang steak.
