Happy Weekend!!

"Sir, Derrick, sir, I beg you, please stop! Don't go inside... You will...umm... that will make the matter even worse." Rex dared to use his voice and speak out for the first time in his 8 years of service under Derrick. Rex knew that Derrick trusted his bravery, confidence, and strength both in business and in a fight and so Rex would work directly under Sam and Bolt now. It was 5 days now that the guards brought Rosy here, in Derrick's farmhouse. This was on the outskirts of Sedona, about 18 Miles from Derrick's home.

Derrick came here the same night when Rosy was brought here. He believed that he would be able to convince her with all his love and care.

But boy, he was wrong...

Rosy was pushing herself to the limits by revolting, screaming, shouting and the thing that Derrick was most concerned about, she hadn't touched her food for the last 5 days.

"Rex, you seriously believe that I can leave Rosy in this state and just relax? My girl hasn't had food for 5 days! She has delivered a baby, her body needs food and rest!" Derrick blasted all his anger on Rex. But only Rex knew how hard it was for him not to lose his cool.

Rex always knew how crazy Byron, Brook, and Derrick can be. But he never believed Derrick could have killed Sean, his most trusted friend, and now separated little kids and a newborn baby from their mother and expect the mother to have a regular life. But he also knew that one wrong word and his head could be rolling lifeless on the floor in minutes.

"I understand your concern sir, but... if you trust me and maintain a little distance from madam now, I promise you, she will start taking care of herself."

Rex was chanting his prayers in mind all this while and to his luck, Derrick went thoughtful for a while, nodded, and then walked away, only to stop, turn and warn, "if she doesn't take food by tonight, be ready to chant your last prayers of life." And Rex could only gulp down listening to the threat.

He was returning to the house when two servants came panting, "Rex, Rosy ma'am! She-she has cut the veins of her wrist!"

"Doctor, will she be-?"

-"Yes, she is alive and will be better by tomorrow. But after that, only if she wants to. Call me back if you face any trouble."

"Rex, thank God Derrick is gone from here. If he would have known about this, we would have died! But how do we manage to make her have food, Rex?" A fellow guard asked anxiously and Rex said, "I think I know how."

"Ma'am, I am so relieved to see you awake. Please have your food."

-"Rex, please leave me alone!"

-"I think I have something that will cheer you up." Saying that Rex showed her a picture of Zane and Ried playing beside Libby, sitting in their garden. Rex knew Rosy would be happy but he never expected her to cry out hysterically. After a while, she calmed down and was about to ask something when Rex handed her the bowl of soup and Rosy reluctantly finished it.

"How did you manage to take this, Rex?"

-"Trust me, it was a big risk, mam. But I knew I had to give you something big to convince you."

Rosy wiped her tears and smiled, but she asked, "How is Libby, Rex? And how are Zane and Ried? Aren't they missing me, worried for me? And where is my Evelyn, Rex? I don't see her with Libby!"
