BEAUFORT: Present Day

10:15Time passed by and I couldn't stop biting my thumbnail in the tension increasing every minute. And on top of that dark moonless night didn't help me either. Even the large redwood tree gave me chills as the wind passed and leaves swayed to give me jitters. My only support and shelter was Daniel's broken car.
I called Daniel for the 10th time but his phone was still not reachable and I opted for the voice message this time, "Daniel, where are you? It's been 40 minutes that you left me in this secluded area in your broken car saying you would be back in 10 minutes. Daniel, I am freaking out with questioning messages from Andy. Please... please come back soon!"
I ended the voice message only to get another message from Andy, "Hope you are safe with Sally. Let me know if you wanna come back early."
I was such a fool to lie at home saying I was with the girls when in actuality I was on a secret date night. Ugh! I wish I were watching a movie this Saturday night instead of waiting here in the dark secluded place. Why did my teenage years are so miserable?
My train of thoughts halted when I heard a knock on the car window, only to find a big man with a hat looking straight at me, "Hey missy, I see your car standing here for some time good time. Do you need some help?"
My heartbeat rose to see a stranger, "Umm... thank you, but no. My boyfriend is coming soon."
-"But why doesn't it looks like that? Let me guess. Your car broke down and your boyfriend went to get some help and you can't call home as you sneaked out."
-"Hey! I-I don't think it's your business anyway. Just go, leave me alone!"
-"I know you are scared and waiting for help. Why don't I help you out, check and fix your car and you can pay me back say 5 dollars and I can buy myself a nice dinner."
My heart was too busy to decide when my head decided to nod to the stranger. What if he was a genuine man, trying to help me out and I could help him with 5 dollars...
The man smiled and insisted, "Can I get in and open the bonnet of the car?"I reluctantly nodded and opened the door to the driver's seat. The man slid inside gently, trying to locate the bonnet opening switch but then gently slid his hand on my thighs.
I froze and opened my door in seconds to jump out and run and tried to dial any number on my phone I could, but I was pushed back to the ground in just a few seconds.
I got rolled once or twice and saw the man coming pounding on me and mounted me, pinning my hands over my head.
"Please, please, let me go! Please!" I struggled as hard as I could, tried to hit him my head, but nothing helped.
"I like the fights! Show me what else you got!" The man said in a devilish voice.
"Get off me, please!" I cried out, pushed him hard but couldn't move him even a bit. I just prayed and wished Daniel would come back and the man would just have mercy, but way inside I knew it wouldn't and I closed my eyes and waited for the worse.
"That's enough for today, get off her, Adam."
Was I hallucinating to hear John's voice? I opened my eyes and Adam got away from me. "I taught you better than this, Ria." John said as he grabbed my hands and stood me up and I hugged him back and then realized, "John, you are here?"
"Seriously Ria, what were you thinking?" I heard Daniel as he approached us from behind.
"What's going on? Daniel, I couldn't reach you for the last 40 minutes? Did you all just fooled me again?" I was furious now as I pushed John away feeling hurt and dejected.
