Context: I learned that hydrogen can bond with itself and is the only element on the periodic table that can do so. So, naturally, my first thought was RemRomNote: this was written in 5 mins, don't judge
POV: Remus
The first time it felt it, it was confused. Normal elements didn't do this. They didn't feel like this. But when it saw the other hydrogen, it felt an immediate attraction. At first, the other elements had scorned it, telling it it wasn't natural, and wasn't welcome on the Periodic Table of Elements, which was supposed to be all-inclusive. Now it knew though. It had seen it happen a million times with other hydrogen particles. It knew it was indeed natural, and now it was happy with the other hydrogen atom, which it came to know as Roman. The other elements would have to move over, because hydrogen, because Remus knew it belonged.
