Lonnie's POV
( Back to Present time)
"I can't believe her man," I said "Look Lonnie you need to calm down," My manager replied to me. "How I'm supposed to be calm... not only was she with her ex but she lied to me about it. What makes it worst is he knows about my powers, so sorry if I can't be calm right now." I shouted. I love Rene I do, but I can't have everyone knowing about my powers. Luckily I can trust my manager with this information at least and Rene well at least I thought.
"You're on in 5 Mr. Young," the cameraman said from the other side of the door. "Just do what you have to calm yourself first off and next after your performance we can deal with everything else," he responded back. He headed out of the dressing room and I got myself together. You got a packed house for the last show. You have hundreds plus fans out there waiting on you.
Just give your fans the best show you can possible and come back home to deal with everything else. They're waiting on you. I put my phone on the charger and headed out to perform. Walking on stage and hearing the cheers brought everything to reality for me. "They all think that I'm-" 'GOING TO CHANGE" the crowd yells back.
As the music continued I looked out and thought I seen Rene. I shook it off and kept going. I don't understand why she would be here anyways she lied to me. As I performed I felt a lot of energy coming off of me and I seen things starting to spin a little bit. I think my manager seen it too and ran up to the Dj to let the band know to stop after the next song.
She noticed me looking her and mouthed "Keep Going" so I did. Once I finished Angelina I told the crowd Thank you and Good Night then zoomed off stage before anybody could see me. I made it to my dressing room and saw my eye color went from dark brown to light green super fast. This would be the perfect time. "Lonnie are you alright?" I heard someone ask.
I turned to see Rene and my manager behind her. "What is she doing here?" I asked ignoring Rene completely. "I think you should talk to her Lonnie, differences or not your powers are flaring up and she's the only one who really keeps you calm. If you would've kept going tonight feeling the way you felt you probably would've literally blew the roof off the place." he explained to me.
I looked at Rene and shook my head. "You got 5 minutes and I'm leaving." I told her. The manager left us alone. This can only go two ways and I'm hoping the right one.
