Lonnie's POV

"Let me guess Kee Kee called you?" I asked. "Yeah she did, what happened like man to man what's going on with you and Rene?" he questioned back. "We just going through it right now man nothing to serious," I sighed.

He looked at me shook his head and walked right past me. "Yeah I said come in Austin you're so welcome," I rolled my eyes. "How was your show anyways? You got 2 number ones now like you really coming up. Just to think it started with Tik Tok," he informed me.

"Right, I think it was the video I did a duet with a fan who was doing a dance to my song Angelina and it went from there but the show was great," I replied to him. "LIONEL!!" I heard my mom shout.

"I'm sorry ma, Austin popped up on me I'll have to call you back I promise. Love you," I said to her. "Mhm. This conversation ain't finished sir. I love you too and let Austin know I said hey," She responded then hung up. "I didn't know your mom was on the phone my bad," he told me.

"You good man, I just was checking in with my moms to see how she was doing and the family you know," I said looking at my phone. "You haven't talked to her since have you?" Austin questioned.

"Nah," "What's stopping you man? If you want to talk to her then do that don't play around with your feelings because of pride man. I don't know what's going on exactly but if you love her go for it," he remarked.

"But I don't know man, it's a lot on the line right now. I love Rene. She's different. She makes me feel different and I love that about her. Anything happens it's like if she's right there she brings me calmness and sanity. Like so many words can describe her I can go on for days," I exclaimed.

"Then what's stopping you Lonnie? Call her. I wouldn't want you to go back to how you felt about A. That was traumatic even for me and I wasn't even dating her," he stated.

"You got jokes man," I chuckled. "But in all serious man call her and talk it out. I bet you that would be better than you holding it in and waiting for something to happen when it won't," he explained. "I'll call her man. If it will get you off me and stop you from turning into Dr. Phil," I said grabbing my phone.

"Yep, now go for it. I gotta go so I can pick up my girl and chill with her before she leaves in the morning," he replied back getting up and heading out the door. I went to my contacts and found Rene's number.. It's worth a shot what's the worst that can happen. Right? I pressed it and heard it ring twice. "Hello," I heard her say. "Hey, Do you think we can talk? In person?" I asked.

"Yeah sure, where are you?" she requested. "I'll send you the address. Once you get it let me know when you're outside," I replied. She said okay and hung up. I went and took shower before she got here. Honestly I need it between everything going on and the stress I have going I need to relax.
