Dee Dee's POV
The officers walked up to me and asked if we knew a Lionel Young. I shook my head no but Kee Kee looked up quick. "Why are you looking for Lonnie?" She questioned. "So do you know him ma'am?" one of the officers asked. "That's me, is there a problem officer?" Lonnie interrogated. "You're under arrest for the stabbing of Austin Hines. You have the right to remain silent," the other officer stated.
"Wait what do you mean? He didn't do anything he literally just got here," I told them but they already had Lonnie in hand cuffs and were on their way. "Are you serious Kee Kee ? You're not going to stop them? You know Lonnie didn't do it, You WERE THERE!" Rene exclaimed. "Hey, I'm going to need you to lower yo tone with me Rene. I'm not the one who arrested your little boyfriend so chill with all that," Kee Kee snapped back.
"But you were there though and didn't stop YOUR friend from being arrested. You know he would do anything for Austin but yet you let him get arrested. You fucked up and you wrong," Rene responded back to her putting her hand in Kee Kee's face. "Get your damn hands out of my damn face before I beat yo ass in front of these damn people," Kee Kee cursed. They were inches away from each other but before anything happened T4 stepped in between.
"Look we all are tired, upset, and probably hungry at this point but we don't need to give these white people a reason to kick us out of here either. Rene, go home and see if you can figure out if Lonnie can post bail or not. Kee Kee sit here and chill your nerves and when Aj gets back from seeing Austin you can go see him," T4 intervened. "Nah, I'll go last because I'll be up here when everybody leave anyways," Kee Kee responded rolling her eyes. Rene sighed and headed out the hospital.
Aj walked from Austin's room towards us. I guess he could tell the vibe was off. "So who's next?" he asked. "I'll go," I answered. It was kind of uncomfortable being around everyone after that. On my way walking towards Austin's room, I bumped into a nurse leaving his room.
"Oh you're here to see this Nigger. I started to think he didn't have anybody," She laughed. "I'm sorry what the fuck did you call him?" I exclaimed. "Oh a Nigger? What is a wrong with you people it's just a word," She answered rolling her eyes. Oh hell nah.
Sadiyah's POV
"You don't have no right calling nobody out their name you racist ass bitch," I heard Dee yelling. This can't be good. I ran to where she was and seen her arguing with the nurse. "What the fuck is going on Dee?" I asked her. "She called Austin a nigger and I'm wondering why she think it's okay because she says its just a word," she explained. The nurse rolled her eyes. Next thing I know I seen nothing but just red.
I guess I hit her pretty hard because all I seen was AJ and Kee Kee pulling me away from where the nurse was on the ground. "Bae we're about to go. You can see Austin in the morning," Aj said pulling me out the hospital. I rolled my eyes and pulled from him. I walked towards the entry doors to head out the hospital with AJ not to far behind me.
"Baby I know you're upset but you can't be spazzing like that," he told me once we got in the car. I didn't say anything. I was still upset because why would she do that. The hell wrong with her. "Sadiyah I know you're still upset, let's go get something to eat and chill back at my place for the night then we can come back in the morning and see how Austin's doing," he continued. I nodded to let him know I heard him and he pulled out of the parking lot of the hospital. This some crazy ass shit. Let me check on Rene.
Sadiyah- Hey, Any update on Lonnie?
Rene- They supposed to be letting him go soon I'm just waiting on him
Sadiyah- I'm glad he getting out but can I ask you something real fast?
Rene- yeah wassup?
Sadiyah- Is something up with him.. I seen his eyes changing colors at the hospital and I was just wondering you know.. if it had something to do with his powers?
Rene- We'll talk tomorrow Love you be safe
Well damn.. that was weird. I guess I'll find out tomorrow what's really going on.
Dee Dee's POV
After seeing Austin, me and T4 checked in one more time with Kee Kee before we left to head back to my house. "I really hope everything is okay with everybody because tonight was crazy," I said to him. "Hell yeah, too much for one night," he responded back.
We made to his car and he started the car. I went to check my phone to see Lonnie's mugshot on Instagram. Well damn that was fast. As we headed back to my house I seen T4's phone light up. I grabbed it. The text said "When you going to come see me?". I know not cause what the fuck is this. You know what I'll wait because he got some explaining to do.
