Chapter 4

Rene's POV

"So what happened exactly Rene because I don't like seeing you cry like this," Sadiyah asked me. I explained to them what happened after his show from me coming in to him saying he doesn't want us seeing each other anymore until everything is "resolved". "Now Rene why you even let Jason in if you knew Lonnie was gonna act like this?" Kee Kee interrogated.

"I honestly thought he was coming back to get the dog. I love Bella but that's his dog. Lonnie and I was thinking about getting a new dog while keeping Bella if Jason didn't come back for her," I responded. "Now you know that boy was not coming back for no dog or you really must be that slow," Sadiyah told me.

"Look yall I was in the middle of getting my stuff ready to come to Atlanta for his show and Jason caught me off guard okay?" I stated looking down at my phone. "Still nothing from him?" Dee Dee asked. "No.." my voice answered trailing off.

Looking at my lookscreen of the picture of us at the fair 3 months ago. So many memories flashed me at once. "So what are you gonna do now?" Kee Kee questioned. "I honestly don't know," I told her.

"Look Rene, you don't need to be sad all damn day, if it was a true mistake fix it. Find out why Jason did what he did. He wanted to know about Lonnie's powers for what? Does Lonnie parents even know about his powers yet?" Sadiyah asked.

"No not yet, he's waiting for the right time. You know his dad's bestfriend died after he found that his dad had powers. So Lonnie wanted to protect himself and anybody he loved for that reason," I explained.

"But I'm pretty sure his parents would guess he had them. Were they at the show tonight?" Dee asked. "I don't think so I didn't see them," I replied. "Well we got all of tonight to help you figure out what you want to do and whatever it is we got you but you not go sit here crying and blaming yourself for something that could've been avoided," Sadiyah said.

Kee Kee and Dee agreed. "Alright, when I get back to LA I'm finding Jason so I can see what's really going on," I told them.  "Since we done with the heavy stuff, Dee you got a bottle cause we go need a couple shots after that," Kee Kee asked. Dee laughed and got up to grab the shot glasses. I really love these girls man. Always know how to cheer me up in the funniest ways.

Lonnie's POV

I want to call her. I want to see her. I need to talk to her. But I need to make sure my family is protected before anything else. I called my mom. "Hey baby how was your show?" she asked. "It was great. I really loved the energy from everyone tonight." I replied. I can see she saw that I was upset. "Lonnie baby what's wrong?" "Nothing ma, just a long day just tired that's all" I said. "It's your powers isn't it?" She interrogated.

"How'd you.." "You know your father has powers too huh? Lonnie why didn't you say anything about it to us? You know if not me your dad would've helped you figure it out," she remarked. "I didn't want to put that out there for you guys to worry about," I mentioned. "Who all knows about it ?" she questioned. "You, Rene, Alexis, Chris and Bobby.." I responded. "Your manager?? Really Lionel why would you tell your manager.. and how did your brother and sister find out??" she kept questioning. "Ma I trust Bobby as far as Chris and Alexis they walked in on me on accident," I explained. Before I could say anything else I heard a knock at the door.

"Who is it?" I asked. "It's me bro," they replied. I opened the door to see Austin standing there. Great.
