Chapter 14

Lonnie's POV

"I just want to know why, Why Bobby?" I started to interrogate him. He just looked at me and just laughed. He nodded at the men who were in the room with us I guess to leave. They nodded back and left. "Look it's nothing personal kid. You're really dope but I'm looking more into the future for the next generations behind you," He stated.

What the fuck is that suppose to mean? "What about my family, my friends, you started me into my music career and got me in front of thousands of crowds just to do this? What will happen if my people come for me then what? You low for this and I trusted you," I responded to him. I felt my powers trying to flare up.

"Yes take your anger out now so it'll be easier to take your powers from you," he started "You really are good kid like I said it's nothing personal at all," he finished and left to go out the room. I remained calm as I could be because I know that's what they're looking for. A reaction and I can't just give it to them. Wherever Rene is right now, I really need her.

Rene's POV

"Are you sure this is where he is Rene?" Lonnie's dad asked. I nodded. We been watching them for the past few days to see the ends and outs of the building so we can get in. After explaining everything to Mr. Young, he basically didn't react as bad as I would've thought. He just said he had a feeling after seeing his siblings struggle with controlling their powers when Lonnie was touring.

So Mr. Young made the plan to basically use his powers to be able to control the guards to get through undetected by the security system. Once in and find the room they have Lonnie in we'll split so that I can distract Bobby so Mr. Young can grab Lonnie and make a break for it. Plan sounds pretty bullet proof to me. Hell I hope no bullets.

He let me know the coast was clear and we started to move in. Once we were in arms reach of the guards, Mr. Young easily nodded at the guards. They looked confused and before they could even react he snapped his fingers twice.

They fell under his control instantly. He used their key cards to scan and get in. They walked and we were behind them. The other set of guards looked confused. "Just new prisoners," the first guard said. The set of guards looked at each other and then carried on. We made it to the security room surprisingly without problems.

We looked at the cameras to see if we would get an exact room of where Lonnie was exactly. Room 119. "Alright look Bobby is standing near by, Just try to keep a conversation or something while I sneak in since its two ways in and out," He instructed me. I nodded and we headed towards that way. I felt my heart racing. Once we started to get closer, I walked from behind the guards once they turned to walk up to Bobby.

"Well Look who it is.. May I say I'm surprised by your visit? Yes I am. So what brings you by?" he questioned. "I don't know you tell me. Have you heard from Lonnie because I haven't seen or heard from him these past few days. As a matter of fact we were supposed to catch our flight yesterday that had to be moved once again to this weekend since nobody heard from him," I answered.

"Nah, I haven't heard from him, but if I do I'll let you know," he smirked. I looked behind him to see Mr. Young sneaking Lonnie to the door so they could run out. Yes! "Can I ask you something Rene? Do you think I'm stupid because I think you do because you knew Lonnie was here but yet questioned me like you had no idea," he stated. Shit. He grabbed me and pulled me tightly towards him.

"I been watching you for a while. I was hoping you and Lonnie did break up because if he did I would've been there," he whispered. I tried to get out of his grip but he was holding me too tight. "Lonnie! Mr. Young! Somebody please! Help me!" I screamed. "They can't hear you. But now that I have Lonnie's dream girl here why don't I welcome you in the right way," he smiled. Oh no. He yanked me and when he did that he gave me a free arm so with that I reached in my back pocket for my pocket knife. Once I grabbed it, I cut him as deep as I could and took off.

"You little bitch! I'll kill you!" he yelled. I took off back the way me and Mr. Young entered but before I could get out the door I felt someone grab me. Mr. Young. "I'm glad you're safe but we need to make it outside alive. This is the FBI we're dealing with. They have back up on the way if not outside already. We need to play this smart. I can hold them off while you and Lonnie make a run for it," He explained.

"Dad, you know I'm not leaving you behind. I know a way for us to get out and we all make it in one piece. Maybe not Bobby but hey," Lonnie remarked. "I taught better than that son. Killing someone is bigger than you lifting and moving things. That stays with you. That's a big move," he tried to explain but Lonnie wasn't hearing it.

Whatever the plan is they need to figure it out and they need to figure it out now!
