(1 1/2 month later)

SaDiyah's POV

Today really needs to be perfect. Me and Aj was felt with excitement when we found out we were having a baby girl.

Me a little more than him. As I was getting dressed I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in," and I seen Aj poke his head around. "You almost ready pretty girl or do you need help?" He asked chuckling.

"Nah I'm almost ready just making sure I don't look too big in this dress," I sighed looking in the mirror.

"You look perfect. You're not big baby it's just our princess baking," he smiled rubbing my belly.

I broke a small smile and went to grab my shoes.

When I came back I seen Aj was gone but he left a gift box with a little note. Forever and Always signed AJ. I couldn't do anything but smile.

I opened the box to see a heart shaped necklace with our baby girls name engraved. Kehlani. I set it down so that I could put on my shoes.

I heard a knock that snapped me out my thoughts. "Come in," I told them. I turned to see Kee Kee. I'm surprised she came..

" Before you even talk, look I'm really sorry for how I've been treating you and how hard I hit you when I found out about you being pregnant. You're the baby. You our little sister and we love you. You know that right?" She asked. I nodded.

"I know you can do it SaDiyah. With that brain on you and the help of Aj plus us I know my niece will forever be straight. I just wanted to apologize and let you see that I'm not mad I was just hurt," she sighed.

I walked up and just hugged her. That's all I been wanting to hear. This is my closest friend who happens to be my big sister.

That shit was bugging me But I also knew it was better to let her be. "It's okay Kee Kee and I accept your apology," I smiled letting her go.

Once I had let her go I seen a familiar face behind her. Crazy I didn't hear anyone knock. I looked closer.

Mom! I just stared. "What are you staring at? Am I ugly or sum?" She asked turning to see our mom.

"Imma go but everyone's waiting on you," she rolled her eyes brushing past our mom. " I wanted to say first how pretty you look. So glowing," she smiled.

" Why are you here mom? You don't even fuck with us," I spat out.

"Look SaDiyah, I've changed. Ive gotten clean and I want to be there for you and your sisters," she teared up.

"Look we're not little girls anymore. We're grown we can handle ourselves. So if you don't mind because I certainly do that you leave," I said grabbing my things walking past her.

"So this ridiculous diyah and you know it," she remarked. I rolled my eyes and went to meet everyone else. When I turned back to look, she was just standing there shocked. She must never heard of karma?

AJ's POV

I finally saw SaDiyah coming out. She looked more than beautiful. I smiled at her but she looked like she had a lot on her mind.

I stood up "I wanna thank everyone for helping us put this together. Through all the last minute grabs and trying to get everyone here I can say we outdid ourselves." I smiled.

Everyone clapped.

I sat back down next to SaDiyah and I could really tell something was bothering her. "Baby what's wrong?" "My moms here," she sighed.

How tf her mom get here and why is she?

"Don't let her ruin today for you alright? We're going to enjoy ourselves and celebrate that our princess is coming okay?" assuring her.

She smiled. "That's my girl,"

(Some hours later)

"As our baby shower comes to a close I'm going to ask Dee to come up and say a few words," the host stated.

Dee Dee got up and walked to where everyone could see her.

"I'm really glad I was able to share this moment and was made a Godmommy by my beautiful friend and her boyfriend. As we get ready to leave I want you to know SaDiyah we got your back 1000 times more. When the baby gets here she'll have everyone stepping behind her. Through everything we all been through these past few months Kehlani is that little pure joy that we all needed in our lives. We love you SaDiyah and Aj and we can't wait to meet little Kehlani soon," she teared up.

I smiled and I saw SaDiyah tearing up too. We got up and hugged Dee. Next thing I know I felt multiple arms touching my back.

This is exactly what why I love these people. They my family that ain't even blood and I forever got them like they got me. Now we all await for Princess Kehlani's arrival.
