Rene's POV
"So talk," he demanded. "Look Lonnie, it wasn't even like that. Jason came over to try and get information out of me about your powers. He was getting suspicious. So when I didn't want to give it up he had grabbed me and that's when you walked in," I started "When you walked in and seen that I can totally understand why you got upset but I was just trying to protect you," I finally got out.
"Protect me?!? Rene you lied to me when I asked you who he was... Even without you telling him now he knows... Do you know how bad that can be for me?" he stated. "Look Rene, until this is figured out I think we shouldn't see each other for a while," "Lonnie I-" "I'll see you around Rene... hopefully." he told me heading out. Now just standing there with eyes full of tears I hurried out to my car.
Soon as I got in the car I called my bestfriend Dee Dee. "Hello" she yawned. "I talked to him but-" I spoke trying to hold back tears. "What's wrong Rene?" she asked me. "He doesn't want to see me after what happened and I mean I don't blame him but I-" "Just come over. Your sisters are on they way over here anyways. When is your flight back home?" she asked.
"Tomorrow morning," I responded back. "Well just spend the night here and catch your flight in the morning at least you can have a train of thought before you leave here," she said. I told her okay and hung up. Being in Atlanta is still weird for me especially after the last show Lonnie had here. I fought his ex Angelina out here because sis was trying to get a little too comfortable talking to me any kind of way.
As I headed towards Dee's I seen my phone going off. It was Kee Kee. "Wassup," I responded. "I talked to Dee you want me to whoop his ass because I will," she said. "No it's fine Kee Kee's because I feel like it was my fault anyways," I explained to her. "Girl I- ... me and Sadiyah are on the way to talk about this because this don't make no sense," she said then hung up. Once I made it to Dee's I seen Kee Kee's car in the driveway.
"So you ready to talk?" Sadiyah asked me while I was walking up to the door. "I guess so," I answered. This is going to be a long night I can tell.
