Frozen Milk was coaxed into obedience by his suitors and he finally agreed to go on with them. He was carried bridal style by Prota while the others just angrily stared into the air.
Luckily, the rest of the journey to Vil's place went uneventful and Frozen Milk actually fell asleep. He didn't notice how Prota tucked him into the bed and gave him a goodnight kiss on the forehead, followed by the others.
However, strangely enough, Frozen Milk had a good sleep and woke up the next morning refreshed. Now, the story he wrote was truly different from how things were going right now and he had no idea what to do anymore.
Continue living with his characters? He had to, didn't he? After all the real climax had to follow. The final battle where they would all fight for him.
Frozen Milk hoped this was still far away and they wouldn't feel the need to occupy him for themselves.
Frozen Milk thought and thought as he sat on his bed if the climax was truly the climax he wished for. He loved his characters, even though they were a handful, and living with them like this wasn't too bad but would he really be able to choose any of them?
Did he even want to have a relationship? Intercourse? His two lifetimes as a virgin made him almost a eunuch. Maybe he should try to become a monk again?
However, Frozen Milk was pretty sure they would never allow him to become one and especially Frozen Milk didn't want to see the head monk again. He still held a grudge against that fake pious monk!
The door to his bedroom opened and Holbe came in.
"Hubby, it's time for breakfast!"
To Frozen Milk's astonishment, Oppoa made a surprise visit. How long has it been since he saw him?
"Surprised?" Oppoa grinned, "His highness relies on my amazing cooking skills. I just came here to check because I heard you guys went through something."
Oppoa came closer to Frozen Milk and Frozen Milk instantly had a heart attack. No, what if Oppoa would also start to fancy him?
Before Oppoa could touch Frozen Milk, Holbe swatted his hand away and protectively held Frozen Milk's head between her breasts.
The blood just flowed.
Oppoa laughed, "He looks fine to me. His highness really dotes on him too much. Well, I'm off then for a long journey. I wish you guys the best."
Oppoa and apparently some of the nature sides' soldiers were sent to the water side in order to help with some tasks. Oppoa volunteered because it was always his dream to visit the water side.
Frozen Milk was glad Oppoa could realise his dream.
As they arrived in the dining hall, Prota, Vil and Glimpse Water already sat on the chair.
"My Lord, you're here."
Frozen Milk just nodded and sat down in the front spot where usually the most important person would sit and had to watch how they fought for the two spots next to him.
Frozen Milk couldn't bother and just started eating, when Prota suddenly said, "Now that everything's settled, Frozen Milk why don't we go back to the water capital?"
Frozen Milk chocked on the milk. The irony.
Prota, however, was right, it was time to think about the future.
"I will come with you," Holbe said.
"Me too," Glimpse Water instantly agreed.
"As will I."
All eyes turned to Vil as he nonchalantly said those words and ate his food.
"Your highness, you shouldn't bother," Glimpse Water teased him.
"I will give up my right for the throne."
Frozen Milk spit out the milk.
There was no way this could happen.
"It is fine, my cousin will take my place. He is well suited to become the crown prince."
Frozen Milk didn't even have time to refute as the matter was already settled. It seemed like even the old king who never made an appearance agreed. After all, with the monster running around freely, it was discovered the old king actually dared to hold experiments and tried to breed monsters.
As his blood son, Vil decided it was best he would give up the throne and leave it to someone the public could accept more who was also capable and wouldn't harm the citizens. Bro was basically thrown out of the picture and Bro himself didn't want the throne anymore.
Just like that, it was resolved.
Yet, Frozen Milk's future wasn't that easy.
Frozen Milk thought for a while but then spoke up, "I don't plan to return to the water capital."
"Father you want to stay here?"
Frozen Milk shook his head.
"Then the neutral island?"
Frozen Milk was silent before nodding his head. For some reason, Frozen Milk liked the natural island the best. The nature side was too much for him and as beautiful the water capital was Frozen Milk was sick of it as he had to work.
The neutral island was the only place Frozen Milk didn't explore properly because he was stuck for a year in the mountains with the monks but as they say, the neutral island was the most beautiful place in the world.
And Frozen Milk felt at ease there the most, maybe because it reminded him of home. The nature and water sides were too much of a fantasy for him.
"I'm fine with it," Holbe smiled.
The others also agreed until they glared at each other.
No way, Frozen Milk had a bad feeling and it came true.
"Why would you want to live with Frozen Milk and me? Just us two is enough!"
"I should ask you the same!"
And so it went on. Frozen Milk knew he couldn't escape it but he still wanted to try, so he indeed ran away from the escalating scene.
He found a haven in the garden but soon his characters came and screamed at the same time, "It's time to properly settle this!"
Oh no, was the climax, the brutal fighting going to take place here? Right now?
Frozen Milk wasn't ready yet!
He wasn't ready to see anyone die and the victor emerge in a blood pool of his dear characters!
