"Dad you and auntie Ro's birthday is coming" Kyra said sitting beside me.
I smiled. It was true. Me and Ro's birthday was coming up, next Friday to be exact, a nigga was turning 29. I was really old af.
"I know, I'm getting real old, you gonna look after me?"
She giggled.
"Of course dad, you always look after me, plus your not that old" She said laying her head on my shoulder.
I kissed the top of her forehead as we chilled and watched the rest of the movie I had on. Once it was done I noticed Kyra had fallen asleep so I wrapped her in a blanket and headed to the kitchen to start dinner.
"I'm home"
I instantly felt annoyed. This was the 3rd time she had left the house without saying anything to me, she knew how I felt about that shit.
"Babe?"
I continued to wash and season the meat.
"King?"
I kissed my teeth turning to face her.
"What Alexis?"
She looked taken back.
"What's with the attitude?"
I cleared my through sarcastically shaking my head at her.
"You fucking around on me Alexis?"
She just looked at me.
"You don't hear me talking to you?"
"I am not about to do this with you King, asking me fuckin stupid shit" She said walking away.
I simply nodded following her up to our room.
"King leave me alo---"
"---Who is he?"
She pushed me away from her.
"King your really about to piss me off, get away from me" She said on the verge of crying now.
I rolled my eyes.
"Don't bother crying now, that's your third time not telling me where the fuck you been at and you expect me to just let shit slide?"
"Why must I tell you my every move?" She semi yelled.
"Don't yell at me" I said calmly.
She kissed her teeth about to walk off again but I dragged her back.
"King let me go" She screamed.
I did as told. Honestly had no energy.
"I'm going out" I mumbled.
She looked at me as if I had 3 heads.
"Why? Where are you goi---"
"---Mind ya fuckin business" I spat leaving the room.
I put on my jumper and picked up my keys and phone about to head out.
"Dad?"
I turned around seeing Kyra rubbing her eyes looking sad.
"Where you going?" She said with a little pout.
I sighed.
"Uncle Reign's house"
She smiled a little.
"Can I come?"
I mentally groaned, because I honestly just wanted to be alone.
"Iyte go grab your shoes and let your mama know"
She quickly rushed off upstairs, when she finally came back Alexis was behind her in her dressing gown with her hair tied up. I licked over my bottom lip because she was so beautiful but right now a nigga needed space.
"When yall coming back?" She asked softly.
"A little later" I mumbled.
She simply nodded kissign Kyra's forehead before heading towards the kitchen.
"Are you and mummy fighting?" Kyra asked once we got in the car.
I sighed.
"Its nothing you need to worry about baby girl"
She simply nodded before texting away on her phone, prob telling Riley that we were on our way.

"Talk to me" Reign said once we got there.
He rolled up a spliff handing it to me before rolling his own. We were currently in his den that he had set up a while back.
"I think Lex is cheating on me" I mumbled before sparking my spliff.
He burst out laughing making me look at him wondering what the fuck was so funny.
"What's so funny?"
He cleared his through still sniggeing.
"Bro Alexis would neverrrr cheat on you...trust me I know"
"What?"
"Nah nah, I ain't try move her I mean I've seen her loyalty for you, that's not it"
"But this the third time shawty goes out without announcing where she gone" I said before kissing my teeth just thinking about the situation.
"Look dummy, Alexis is a grown ass woman, she ain't gotta tell you her every move nigga"
"But that's how we've always had it, so why all of a sudden there's a change?"
"People change King, trust me I know, its prob nothing, try talking to her instead of juping to conclusions homie"
I sighed knowing once again my older brother was right. I just silently continued to smoke my spliff with nothing left to say.

"WHERE'S MY BABY?" I screamed.
"Princess Calm do---"
"---Do not tell me to calm the fuck down where is Jasmine where is she?" I hollered.
I could feel the hot tears racing down my face as I stare blankly at the chair that Jas was once laying on. The only thing there was one of her hair bows.
"What happened?" Dad and Mum asked coming in.
"They took Jasmine" I cried. "they took my baby"
"Who? What the hell is going on and where is my grand child?" Dad hollered now.
Mum started calling everyone and before we knew it everyone was in the house looking sad and angry.
"Bro who would take her? How they even get in?" Alexis asked holding me as I continued to cry.
"Alexis stop asking dumb questions if we knew the answer to them we wouldn't be standing here would we?" King spat.
"What the fuck is your problem?" She spat back.
"Yall quit" Reign said.
"Tell him, he started it" Alexis said glaring at King who was glaring at her.
"What's going on between yall?" Ro asked.
"Nothing" King mumbled looking away. "I just wanna find my niece, anyone got any plans or any links to who could've done this shit?"
Everyone remained silent, I wiped my eye, tired of crying. I just wanted to find my baby.
"I think I know..."
