I woke up to a breeze and weight on my chest. I opened my eyes to jhené. I looked down and smiled.
" stop looking at me like that" she mumbled into my chest.
" how the hell-"
" you've done that since we were kids y/n" she said shifting so she can look at me.
" true" i said
" what are your plans for today" she asked cuddling back into me.
" I have some songs I want to finish up how bout you"
" I have to go to the studio and I have a live performance with uh Sean" she said.
" oh" was all I could say.
Maybe I should just give up on this whole thing between us. Maybe this whole thing is just meant to stay in the past and not come back to the present. Maybe-
My thoughts were cut off to a kiss. It took me a minute to kiss back but I eventually did. We pulled away when air was needed.
" wash all of those thoughts away y/n. Our album that we created when we were together dropped and they want us to preform it. I meant it when I said I missed you" she said sitting us so she fully straddling me.
" Sorry" i said.
" don't be I know I've done a lot to make you rethink a lot of things" she said getting off of me. " but let's forget about all that rn and let's go take a bath" she said with a small smile and heading towards her bathroom
" maybe you are still the same jhené" i mumbled with a small smile getting up.
Time Skip
I finished 2 song and now I'm working on another one but this time I'm gonna actually use my singing voice. I walked to the recording room she has and connected my phone one of the speakers and set the volume to where I can still here myself. I played through a bunch of beats jay sent me and stopped at a certain one I really liked. I opened my notebook and started to sing some of the words I wrote and the rest off the top of my head.

I was so into what I was singing I didn't even realize that jhené had already came back from being in the studio and her performance until I heard her voice.
