Safe and sound

AN// I know, I didn't update last time. School is tough. Anyways Idk if you all know this but Draco is afraid of dark and storm.

So my beautiful mind says how about you made an imagine about that

Summary: It's Holiday. And you're staying in Hogwarts. But a huge storm hits Hogwarts that's why you stayed.

It's almost Christmas, but you stayed in Hogwarts. You're family is visiting an old ancestor, and you decided to stay, besides a huge storm is hitting Hogwarts.

You're currently in the Great Hall, and the spot you have is near in the fire place. It's warm and cozy. But the storm didn't stop.

After dinner, you're walking your way to your dorm, but you heard a whimpering sound. You decided to ignore it because it's probably Malfoy, bullying another student.

Days goes by and the storm didn't leave at all. It was getting in your nerves actually. You hated storm because they always bring the mood down.

You walked yourself to the library to read and probably write some poems. That's what you love, reading and writing love poems.

But ironic, you write love poems yet, you yourself didn't even experience any of it.

You found a cozy spot in the library and decided to let your mind shift into another realm.

You, again in the library, writing and reading. It keeps repeating.

You sat down and grab a parchment and quill. And started writing the poem you had in your head.

" Just close your eyes,
The sun is going down,"

You mumbled as you write, you put a spell around you so no one will bother you. But what you didn't see is that Malfoy was besides you when you casted the spell.

While in the middle of writing, a loud thunder was heard and surprisingly, the lights went out.

Then you heard it again, the whimpering sound. You got your wand and casted lumos.

There you saw, Malfoy, covering his ears and mumbling something.

"Malfoy?" You whispered, he looked up and you saw tears in his eyes. You went on your knees and started patting his shoulders

"Hey, you alright? I'm here" you said, a hint of worry in your tone.

"Take deep breath" you said , you grabbed a chair and started rubbing his back. You hugged him and he surprisingly hugged you back.

"Shh, you're safe and sound with me" you said whispering into his tears. He broke down and you let him be.

After that, the lights went on and you looked at him

"You okay?" You asked him, he nodded and you wiped his tears

"I'm scared of the storm and the dark. So..I tend to hide all the time" he confessed, you looked at him puzzled and that's when you realize

"So you're hiding in the cupboard?" You asked and he nodded. You grinned and hugged him

"Don't worry, I'm here..you're safe and sound" you whispered, gently rubbing his hair.

After that incident, you and Draco started dating, and whenever there's a storm coming, you sneak out in your dorm to cuddle with him.

"Just close your eyes, the sun in going down,
you'll be alright, no one's gonna hurt you now
Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound"

You sang, as you cuddled with him in his bed

"You're voice is soothing. It makes me calm love"

"I know. And as a matter of fact, you're the inspiration why I wrote that" you said and kissed his nose.
