Noodle Cat

AN// I have a huge obsession with ferrets. I basically call them noodle cats, because you know, they are long and flexible and cute. So yup that's where I got the inspiration

I heard a big commotion outside but didn't bother to join in. I'm too tired to see what's happening, until a white ferret stopped me.

"N-noodle cat!" I exclaimed, I gently picked it uo and he was a bit tense. I already knew it was a boy, cause I used to study ferrets about their origins and species.

"I didn't know there's a noodle- I mean ferret around Hogwarts. Oh dear, you're still tense. Bet you don't like crowded places huh. Let's get you warm and full" I said and gently place him on my hands.

I went to my dorm and put down my bag. I prepared a small bath for him and started to bathe him. I gently touched the noodle cat's nose and he sneezed which is kinda cute. After I gave him a warm bath, I dried him off.

I let him go in my bed, and I grabbed my books. I need to finish this essay Snape set! God he always set us an essay which is kinda crazy. Potions and stuff, not really my thing.

I looked the noodle cat and he's still a but tense. I gently grabbed him and looked.

"Hey, why are you still tense? Are you hungry? But I only have green apples. Let's get you some" I said to the noodle cat, I placed it on my head and grabbed some apples from my stock. Of course I washed it, I cut in from small pieces and gave it to him.

He seems to like apples, which I remembered a certain Slytherin. Draco. And it seems odd that, he wasn't bullying me today.

"You know, I find it very odd. Malfoy always bully me yet, he didn't today. And it's not that I'm complaining or something. I guess it became part of my life now. He would usually pick me because he knows that I won't snap back. Oh noodles, he's lucky that I'm quite. Besides I don't understand why, does he always pick on me. Do you think he likes me?" I asked my pet. I must be crazy, there's no way, this ferret would answer me back

"But you know, despite all of his bad side, I like him. I have this feeling that he's just misunderstood or something. But who am I? There's no way he would like me back. Besides I know he's been eyeing on Greengrass, not Daphne, Astoria. They seem to be a good couple. I guess. Oh merlin, I have to go. Behave noodle cat" I said and petted him one last time.

The next day, this noodle cat won't leave me alone. He's a bit clingy. So I decided to take him anywhere. Harry even wanted to get rid of it but I told him no.

Right now, I'm in the library, and noodle cat is sleeping right next to me. I smiled  and kissed his head, which cause him to wake up.

"Sorry bud, did I wale you up? C'mere let's go grab some snacks for you" I said and grabbed him, We went to the kitchen and I asked the house elves for some food, which they gave me some.

"Here you go bud. Enjoy" I said and watch him eat. He's really cute and stuff. I petted him while he eats.

"Ms. L/n? Can I have a word with you?" I turned around and saw Professor McGonagall and Moody.

They were looking at me and my ferret

"Yes Professor? Is there something wrong?"

"I need you to help me with these" Moody said as signaled me to go out. I suspiciously nodded and left.

After helping him, my noodle cat is gone. I knew they would get rid of him!

Now I don't any accompany!

I was in Potions, and surprisingly Malfoy showed up, but I got tense when he kept staring at me, and smiling.

Did this dude drink something? Cause I swear on Merlin, he doesn't stop staring.

As soon potions are done. I quickly left and avoided him. But guess what, luck wasn't my side at all.

He grabbed my wrist and lead me to an empty classroom

"P-pet me" He choked out, and I just stared at him

"What?"

"I said pet me"

"What are you a dog?"

"No, I was transformed into a ferret" He said and I laughed at him

"Good for you, that's your karma"

"Oh yeah? Says the one who always calls her ferret noodle cat" I stared at him and he just smirked.

"H-how.. Do you have my noodles?!" I asked him and he nodded

"Give it back!" I hissed and he stood up and pinned me on the wall

"I was that white ferret you kept" My world stopped functioning.

Wait. Draco turned into a ferret, the white ferret I petted for a week, the white ferret I talked to, the
white ferret, I kissed?!

"Oh my lord" I mumbled.

"I must be crazy, haha. Yeah I must be crazy" I said. He grinned and peck my lips.

"And yes, I like you too, noodle cat" he said and winked at me. He left me there, standing trying to process what just happened.

"And that's how your Father turned into a ferret, or noodle cat" I said to my youngest daughter, Cassy

"Oh! Can you turn daddy into ferret?" She asked, giggling, I looked at Draco and he nodded as no

"Well, sorry Cass. Mummy is feeling funny" Draco said and kissed my forehead.

"Oh, please. You're scared that I might actually turn you into one" I teased and he playfully rolled his eyes
