(Der POV)

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I then looked down to find Meredith still fast asleep in my arms. I smiled to myself. I looked over at the clock to read 2:30. I want to go get something to eat, but she looks so peaceful. I slowly moved from my position and put a pillow in my place. I quietly went downstairs to make myself a sandwich. I decided on turkey and cheese. After I made my sandwich, I decided to make some chicken noodle soup for Mer, in case she felt better when she woke up. I brought the food back upstairs, only to find Meredith once again, throwing up in the bathroom. Before I could get there, she slowly stood up and swayed dizzily, I quickly ran over to her and steadied her. I reached over for the thermometer and stuck it into her mouth again. It beeped and read 104.7. "Your really hot Mer. Maybe we should go to the hospital." I stated, concerned. "Okay." She replied in a small voice. "Alright, I'll grab a sweatshirt and sweatpants for you to change into and we can leave." I explained. "Mhm." She replied. I gave the clothes to her and started to slowly take her T-shirt off. I took the T-shirt off and threw it into the laundry bin. I took my bowdoin sweatshirt from the bed and slid it over her arms. Then, I took her pajama pants off and discarded them into the laundry bin. I sat her down on the bed and pulled on a new pair of sweatpants. I stood up and wrapped my arm around her waist. She meant most of her weight on me as we walked out the door. "Almost there Mer, just a little longer." I said softly. She was pale. I figured we should just give her and IV and some anti nausea agent. As we pulled into the hospital, I ran around the other side of the car and opened the door for Mer and helped her inside. "I don't feel good." I heard her say, seconds before she threw up in the lobby. "It's okay, it's okay." I whispered into her ear. I led her into a room where we were greeted my Doctor Bailey. "What'd you do now Grey?" She asked. "She has a fever of 104.7 and has been throwing up consistently for the past 6 hours." I replied, kicking into doctor mode. "Hm, Meredith, I'm gonna ask you to lay back so I can palpate your abdomen, okay?" Miranda asked.
